JetLun Corporation                                                                                                                             2008 – 2013

Project Manager. Responsible for the evaluation and testing of Jetlun’s products to be used in business and

§         Presented the in-home architecture for Verizon’s FTTP deployment. Initiatives included the testing and acceptance of the Broadband Home Router (BHR) and testing of multiple wired and wireless technologies including Ethernet, WiFi, HomePlug and others.

§         Conducted  feasibility studies to deploy wireless broadband capabilities in areas where DSL had proven to be costly and or wired facilities were not available. Presented economic and technical studies to upper management.

§         Lead trials and deployment of broadband wireless facilities in multiple locations in the US. Lead efforts to introduce WIMAX technology in Verizon’s territory              

§         Directed the preparation of technical and financial evaluation plans for the deployment of broadband facilities in several locations across Verizon’s territories

 

Director - Operations , Verizon International Inc. - Mexico / Iusacell (2001-2003)

§         Lead a team of 260 employees responsible for the planning, engineering, implementation and operation of a wireless and wireline nationwide network that included 1100 base stations, 6 switches, 600 microwave links and a 1200 miles long fiber optic network

§      OSP engineer in the Jersey City district responsible for engineering the local copper and fiber facilities for consumer and business customers as required by demand. Responsibilities included the timely and economical engineering of outside plant routine and specific estimates along with the appropriate financial studies to warrant the investments

 

Network Planning and Engineering (1982-1985) New Jersey Bell

§      Responsible for the planning and engineering of Hi-Cap interoffice facilities in specific areas of northern New Jersey

§      Exposed to fiber optics, analog and digital radio. Prepared, submitted and presented multi million dollar business cases for senior management approval
