Sr. Project Manager for FTE Network Services for the
installation of Corning FlexNAP fiber in 50 + distribution areas in
Seattle. This project was part of the Erricson / CenturyLink Roll out
of their 1 gigabit fiber to the home. This was a full turnkey
FlaxNAP project consisting of office acquisition, OSP Fiber Optic /
Civil design, material procurement, permitting, civil construction, Fiber
installation, splicing, and CAM Tool acceptance. Responsible for all
CME activities inclusive of subcontractor management and negotiations,
scheduling and budget control, documentation and customer interface, base for
tracking / monitoring all phases of the project, including change
orders, payables and receivables. Ø
Project Manager for MasTec North America, Inc., 100 mile,
Manatee County Institutional Network Project in Bradenton, Florida with
a project value of approximately $12 million dollars. This was a
full turnkey Future Path Micro Duct infrastructure project consisting
of OSP Fiber Optic / Civil design, material procurement, permitting,
civil construction, Micro Fiber installation, splicing, placement of
electronic switching equipment and acceptance. Responsible for all CME
activities inclusive of sub contractor management and negotiations,
scheduling and budget control, documentation and customer interface, base for
tracking / monitoring all phases of the project, including change
orders, payables and receivables. Increased project revenues by
$4 million dollars over 2 years through client relationships. Ø
Project Manager for Dynamic Technical. Assigned to MCI project
Guam in January of 2004 to oversee a 22 mile / Fiber Optic Ring for
NASA / Navy. Project # 041998 Guam International Ring. Project value
approximately $18 million dollars. This project was designed to install
a high speed redundant fiber optic cable system to facilitate real time
tracking of the space shuttle while in earth orbit. Responsibilities
included total oversight of all project functions, including: Engineering,
ROW acquisition, Contractor acquisition, Contract development, Statement and
Scope of Work, Permitting, Daily and Weekly project tracking, Verification of
invoicing, Inspection, Change In Plans, Etc.

International. Assumed operational control of the construction division
of Columbia Transcom on December 16th
2000. Project value approximately $111 million dollars. This
involved the creation of specifications, bid documents, and construction
budgets for 267 miles 4-4” conduit & 432-Ribbon fiber with multiple
regenerator huts and electronics. Assisted in research and
interaction with mediation lawyers on legal settlements with the US
Environmental Protection Agency. Management of Land / ROW
Acquisition Group, two Project Management teams, twenty Inspectors,
Construction Program Management team. Instituted Permit tracking and
project financial tracking procedures. Oversaw construction of a multi
conduit system through the Path Tunnel from NJ to New York City terminating
at 111 - 8th Street. Ø
Program Manager for OSP Consultants. Assumed leadership roll of Project
Management group in 1998. The client list included Williams
Communications, Nextlink, Metro Media Fiber Networks &
others. Approximate projects budget $180 million dollars. The MetroMedia
Fiber Networks project in Washington D.C. consisted of the project
management, engineering, permitting, and new build construction of 100 plus
miles of four to sixteen ducts, a 432 to 864 fiber ribbon cable system and
over 200 building adds. This job demanded the complete coordination of
all groups to meet customer schedules and budget constraints using industry
standard, project management tools and innovative, technological processes.
Responsibilities: Contract evaluation and administration, Risk analysis
and mitigation. Ensure adherence to PMI standards and company policies.
Project schedules and update meetings, Customer interface and follow-up, Cost
analysis & budgeting. Final review / signature of Contractor /
Sub-contractor requests for payment. Review and approval of client
invoicing. Management of four project managers, engineering,
permitting, and as-builts. Ø

Assigned to the MCI / Avantel Mexico Project. Project Value
Approximately $19 million dollars.
The team was successful in implementing over 5200 kilometers of major fiber
optic backbone with
regenerator huts in conjunction with the MCI and Banamex system. This
included 500 cellular
buildouts and installation of Ericson radio electronics. Required to develop and implement the
complete organizational structure for the company. Through the creation
of a crack team of Mexican National business managers, we organized seven
departments consisting of Engineering, Accounting Group, Recruiting
Department, Vehicle Department, Billing Department, Inspector Coordination,
Field Engineers/Inspectors This group, originally, managed a contract
worth $5.2 million. Under personal direction, they drove the contract
to 19 million dollars, while administering a field staff of 150 engineers and
managing a fleet of 122 trucks. In six months, the Recruiting
department created a resume database of 1900 degreed engineers for potential
