Cable Maintenance Supervisor                                                        

              Supervise 24 technicians in the Customer Operations Organization. Duties include dispatching work to the technicians for Copper, DSL and T1 repair. In charge of Buried Maintenance on telephone cable damage and routine cable maintenance and repair. Responsible for maintaining Air Pressurization for four Central Offices.  Make sure each technician receives proper monthly and annual safety training, ordering tools and working within the budget. Actively involved in labor relation issues and working closely with the CWA Union members.  Completing monthly safety inspections on all technicians to ensure all safety practices are being followed.

Fios Installation Supervisor                                                                       Installing one of Verizon’s newest products for our business and residential customers to include high speed internet, video, and voice. Supervised 20 technicians ensuring that they followed all safety practices and performed quality work. Also, installing regular copper and DSL service. Dealing with daily customer concerns to make sure that they were receiving the best quality service.

Construction Supervisor                                                                     

              In charge of the placing of new telephone poles and replacement of damaged poles. Installed new copper and fiber optic cables, aerial and in the underground. Supervised 24 technicians combined. One group each of Lineman and Splicers.  Instrumental in the FTTP/FIOS build in Chester County PA.

 

FTTP(Fiber To The Premises) Project Manager                            

              Project Manager responsible for covering the state of Delaware during Verizon’s Fiber Optic restructuring of our communications network. Responsible for monthly House Holds passed to meet Directors requirements. Responsible for Fiber inventories and ordering for all FTTP related Material including Splitters and Hubs. Responsible for the redline process of handling completed work orders for validation and ready for sale.

Construction Supervisor – Delaware                                          

              In charge of 20 technicians that installed T1, Litespan, Sonetplex,  DSL and FTTP Project. The FTTP development project brought our FIOS to customer’s residence and businesses.

Splicing Technician  Delaware- Customer Operations              

              Installed and repaired copper lines for customer’s homes and businesses to include but not limited to T1, DSL, ISDN, T Carrier and POTS line. Part of the Air Group that worked to maintain the required Air Pressure at all our Central Offices and Outside Plant.
