·         Managed various Consulting Engineering firms, approved all Work Order packages, and maintained schedules with regard to release of the Work Prints. 

·         Led Kick-Off Meetings, and weekly Status Meetings, coordinated with the various municipalities with regard to Permits, City Regulations, and Customer Complaints. 

·         Acted as liaison between Engineering and Construction to resolve or remove any roadblocks to ensure the Build Schedule was maintained.

 

Network Engineer (Contractor) Coppell, Texas                               February 2004 – April 2005

·         Responsible for the design of the Fiber To The Premise (FTTP) project for Verizon Communications.  This included the preparation of the Engineering Work Orders, Work Prints, Permits, and any other documents required for the installation of the FTTP network in a specific Wire Center. 

·         Gathering of field notes, meeting with the various municipalities or other regulatory agencies to get the required permit and installation requirements, plan for any road moves that are scheduled in the proposed build, and coordinating with various engineering vendors to maintain quality and schedule requirements. 

·         Other duties included coordinating with construction to maintain the work schedule, meeting with customers to resolve any issues, attending weekly staff meetings to discuss scheduling and/or other issues that occur during the build, and resolve any roadblocks that may be encountered.
