pole work. I also worked on copper jobs, namely rehab work. June 2009 – July 2009
Contract Engineer to AT&T through Mountain LTD
I was assigned to the Peoria, Illinois F-2 Conditioning group with AT&T,
where I did F-2 Condition design work. July 2006 – October 2008 Contract Engineer for Progressive Communications Services – Old
Hickory, TN I was assigned to the Joliet, Illinois office for
AT&T. My responsibilities entailed engineering routine fiber optic
orders. I also
worked on engineering FTTN, FTTP and VRAD projects. I am presently a
Quality Control Engineer in the Blue Island, Illinois Engineering office for
AT&T. I quality check SAI replacement jobs as well as VRAD jobs
that are engineered by off premise Engineers. Also, While in Joliet, I
engineered many F-2 conditioning jobs. I also have experience with

Cable Locator for Aldridge Electric Inc. -
Libertyville, Illinois My responsibilities for Aldridge Electric
included locating fiber optic cable and monitoring its condition as part of a
contract with Commonwealth Edison. I was responsible for preparing
reports for JULIE queries as well. My duties also included being part
of an on call staff for supervision of restoration to damaged cable. Work Experience Continued September 2000 – September 2002
Cable Locator for Adesta Communications LLC – Romeoville, Illinois I was responsible for locating and maintenance
for fiber optic cable in Northeastern Illinois for Commonwealth Edison per a
contract with Adesta. I was also on call for supervision of repair and
restoration of damaged cable. January 1998 – September 2000
Contract Engineer for Ameritech – Joliet, Illinois
My responsibilities at Ameritech included
engineering projects for cable placement. I was also responsible for
providing training and mentoring to newly hired engineers entering the field
of communications engineering. January 1968 – January 1998
Various for Illinois Bell and Ameritech – Illinois I began my career at Illinois Bell as a Cable
Splicer. I was promoted to Lead Splicer, a position I held for twelve
years in Aurora, Illinois. I received a promotion and transfer to Peoria,
Illinois as Cable Repair Manger, where I supervised a team of twelve for six
years. I was then transferred to a Splicing Manager
position where my duties included supervision of employees and assigning them
projects for completion. I moved to a new position as an Outside Plant
Engineer and transferred to the Joliet, Illinois office. My
responsibilities there included designing and engineering cable placement
projects. Additional Skills I am skilled at supervising and bringing projects
to completion, usually before deadlines. As an Engineer I have
extensive experience in both the copper and fiber worlds. I have
experience in legal mandate work, from road moves to bridge replacements in
both copper and fiber. I also have engineered all types of outside
plant buried, aerial, underground, built conduit runs, house cable and
collocation work. I enjoy taking field notes and transferring them to
produce the prints. As a manager I supervised outside plant
construction and repair craftsmen for eight years. I enjoy working with
