*Assists in creating statements of work or engineering installation packages which include detailed technical specifications, bill of materials, cost estimates, and test procedures.

* Assists in the planning, design, and implementation of facilities to house core communications nodes and communication closets for campus-wide telephone switching and/or data networking systems, including floor plans.

* Utilize computers to develop project engineering with programs such as MS Word, Excel, and          AutoCAD LT, Bently View, Visio, Google Earth and Cable Records.

Provided engineering for OSCAR projects in support of USAISEC-FDED. Skilled in the layout and design of telecommunications infrastructure. Performed site survey and Prepared telecommunication documents for multiple Government facilities.

 

Creative Utility Service, 1994 – 1996, Contract OSP Engineer.

Accomplishments:

CFW Networks-- Created the Design of Fiber Optic Cable. Completed 16 miles of a FOC CAP Ring in Charlottesville, VA. Completed 14 miles of Fiber Optic Cable Point to Point Harrisonburg, VA to Weyers Cave, VA. Completed 3 mile Phase II CAP Ring in Harrisonburg, VA.

 

Henkel and McCoy, Inc., 1989 – 1994, Contract OSP Engineer.

Centel of VA - Layout and design of routine and work orders. Field staking, cutover, and splicing sequences.

Accomplishments:

UTS of PA - Routine orders to projects. Completed projects for 3 switch sites with FOC feeder and copper distribution. Performed with team members on 3 additional switch site projects, verifying records for customer loop assignment system (C.L.A.S.) Project for UTS of PA and New Jersey.
