labeling was a must. >Assist IT in network shutdowns where we would be
responsible for numerous Cisco 6500 and 4000 series swaps or changes in the
SCR's or Data Centers.>Proficient in testing multi mode and single mode
fiber using a Fluke DTX 1200 cable analyzer. Also have experience using a
Fluke DTX 1800, which we used the OTDR function for numerous reel tests done
before installing fiber.>Extensive work done in the Cisco call manager
assigning phone numbers to employees using the Cisco VOIP network
services.> Worked in all the Data Centers on site to provide them with
install and decom of various servers and Cisco hardware. Installed 2 post

Paths through fire and smoked rated walls. Pictures were taken to show
customer where penetrations were installed. Design and create As Build Blue
Prints for customer to show all Cat5e data drops in customers
facility.> Extensive work with Fluke DTX 1200 cable analyzer. Tested
customers old cable infrastructure to obtain test results of customers
current data cables. After cable was installed, we tested all the new cable
infrastructure to provide customer with copies of newly installed certified
cable infrastructure.> Flew to numerous locations with-in the lower 48
states for this particular postion. Was responsible for making flight on
time, rental cars and hotel costs which company re-imbursed. Had to send in
expense reports every Friday to keep track of all costs. |

pair) at each apartment building using 66 blocks. Terminated each apartment
with standard USOC telephone faceplate.>Worked for Roswell Independent
School District installing Cat 5e, Single Mode and Multi-Mode fiber for numerous
schools with-in the school district. Installed Multi-Mode loose tube aerial
fiber for numerous portables with-in the school district. Terminations were
done using 12 strand breakout kits, 3M hot melt kit, ST hot melt connectors.
All work was certified using Fluke DSP 4300 cable analyzer. >Worked at
Mountain View Medical Center in Las Cruces as the lead technician, on the 1st
floor expansion and 4th floor expansion. Pulled and installed the horizontal
cable distribution on both expansions. Pulled 12 strand fiber and 200 pair
feeder from MDF to both IDF expansion closets. Responsible for the build of
both IDF communications closets to include the layout of the cable tray and
communications racks and layout of the voice backboard. >Worked at Las
Vegas Medical Center to do an entire remodel of their Fire Alarm System.
Installation of devices and wire distribution throughout the entire hospital.
Had to phish every pull with 6 foot glow sticks due to hard ceiling through
the entire hospital. Responsible for addressing and troubleshooting for every
building. Work was done under the supervision of Simplex-Grinnell certified
technician. |
