ñ Optical

equipment, digital multiplexer, circuit termination equipment, AC and DC
power equipment, OTDR, fiber optic cable locating equipment, and various
testing equipment.

preventive scheduled maintenance and inspections on equipment and on the
critical infrastructure including, but not limited to: HVAC systems,
high-voltage electrical systems, DC power plants, and power backup
generators.
ñ Received CBYD
tickets via IRTH, locates and marks fiber cables, identification of physical
plant and closes tickets.

Provided assistance to OSP engineer with construction observation
and construction staking/surveying, construction administration, collecting
field data with GPS equipment and other measurement tools, utilizing
procedures, principles, update as-builts, and completes FAR.

Able to support cable reroutes, hot cut fiber around construction
areas includes splicing, OTDR testing and record updates.

backbone Sonet routines. ERS ready, trained to temporary repair and
to permanent splice fiber cable. Replace fiber on route with new
via trenching or aerial, take OTDR traces, test, accepting, and record
updates to engineering data base.

in CPE sets up Wireless Ethernet LAN/WAN, Routers, Hub, Modems, and Switches.
ñ Enters and
updates fiber traces in database via FMT – Nutcracker for splices, losses,
for OSP engineering changes and upgrades.
ñ Wrote MOP's -
Method of procedures for Fiber Cable reroutes (hot cuts), or for advanced
module replacement procedures. We used standard templates and made written
changes to reflect different types of conditions. Submitted MOP to Sprint CMC
for approval via webcom.
ñ Use and
knowledge of MS DOS and Windows NT 4.0, 2000 Professional, XP Professional,
Microsoft Office 97, 2000, and XP, Outlook 98, 2000, Internet Explorer, MS
Word, Access, CADD and Excel skills.
