US-SI Sensor Systems. Cable and Fiber Optic Technician.

Work with mechanical, electrical, and optical engineers to define electro-optic assemblies.

Assist with preparation of layouts, assembly drawings, schematics, parts list and building strategies. Build, test, calibrate and perform assessment of electro-optical assemblies.

Complete build up of High Temperature sensor interferometers with high temperature optical components such as couplers, faraday rotator mirrors, reference coils and multiplexers using fusion splicing methods. Dearmour stainless steel cable and cut open inner metal alloys K-tube to expose optical fibers. Assemble mechanical bulkheads, rope sockets and various components for final integration of sensor arrays. Integrate pods into multi-layer array and test completed interferometers for final array systems.

 

Pinnacle Communications and Quintron Systems. Lead Telecommunications Fiber and Cable Technician.

Experience includes the installation, repair, upgrades, migrations and maintenance of simple to complex telecom networks. Technical expertise in installation, service, and maintenance of telecommunications systems, and structured cabling. Routing, splicing, terminating, and connecting telecommunications VOIP and data lines. Sucessfuly finished on time horizontal and fiber infrastructures for small and large commercial buildings network.
