At Turnkey, I worked in the engineering branch of the team that handles all the needs for fiber optic customers such as splicing, installation, permitting, etc., in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.

* Responsible for network planning, route choice and design and engineering along with AutoCAD detailing of plans, conforming to both AEC and MCAD professional standards.

* Helped to implement TurnKey Engineering Standards, enabling jobs to be completed at a faster rate, along with improved accuracy, thus growing relationships with clientele and improving financial performance.

* Permit specialist: Working with hundreds of private and public authorities in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois, I was able to build strong relationships by following their necessary specifications and procedures, thus allowing me to procure permits otherwise unattainable.

At Cincinnati Bell, I was responsible for engineering, detailing, and organization of both public and private telecommunication construction projects.

 

* As one of the leaders of the Underground Construction team, I routinely planned and engineered my own projects, submitting to a Territory Engineer for approval.

* As a team member in the Aerial Design group, I was responsible for basic network planning, route choice and design. I detailed many of my own projects, conforming to all accepted professional standards.

* I coordinated with multiple departments in the company to facilitate timely completion of projects, along with state and local agencies necessary to procure any and all permits. At the same time I would deal with client concerns and address these as needed, finding the most effective solution, thus keeping the relationships between company and client strong.

* Working with limited time frames, I was able to complete 90% of jobs ahead of schedule, thus increasing work flow and reducing costs.

* I gained limited experience assisting the Construction Finance team pricing out projects, and looking for ways to lower costs through better planning and techniques.

At IPC, I worked as part of a small team that engineered large electrical resistors to be manufactured in the adjacent plant.
