Daily field work included pole ownership investigations, measuring spans and conduit lengths, recording

fiber optic cable route construction from Ohio to New Jersey. Responsible for contractor safety,

visual inspections of conduit line construction, station staking, right of way compliances, ditch &

backfill inspections and testing conduit integrity. Documented all aspects of construction by

keeping bore logs and field notes including depths, offsets and GPS locations, drawing red lines

on construction "as-built" and materials/equipment inventory.

ELM Locating - 10/08-09/09 Utilities Locator. Visited hundreds of construction sites to

accurately locate and identify buried underground utilities (Gas, Electric, Telecommunications,

Fiber, Etc.) using special electronic equipment. Each locate was painted, flagged, photographed

and documented to help prevent damages to utilities from excavations and to prevent injuries to

those working around utilities. Responsible for a company vehicle, equipment and computer.
