•·      Experience in outside plant backup AC generators for Remote Fiber Hut locations. Able to perform general maintenance on portable gas engine generators, oil changes, winterization, etc. Familiar with commercial AC to backup generator transfer protocols and testing.

•·      Battery and rectifier experience in outside plant Remote Fiber Hut locations. Able to test batteries in SLC and Fiber Hub locations. Lorain battery performance and monitoring equipment experience.

•·      Connect and test transport equipment thru NMA. Environmental alarm maintenance and testing through NMA.

•·      Familiarity of C.O equipment, relay racks, equipment racks, D4 channel banks, DSX, DCCS, Main Frame, Fiber Distribution Panels, cable vault, air pressure dehydrators and monitoring systems.
