Responsibilities including new business development
with all of the major telecommunications entities in both the domestic and
international markets for private, public and government telecommunications
project involvement as well a bid opportunity for the second largest railroad
in the United States on a $785M project proposal. Secured very lucrative
nationwide OSP Construction Contract with one of the major carriers that
primarily provide service to the Federal Government and United States Armed
Forces. In addition, secured similar but smaller contracts with Regional
Carriers, D.O.T’S on various ITS programs in several states. I personally
secured and completed numerous pre-qualification packages for LD Cos., RUS,
CLEC’s, D.O.T’s, and City, County/Parish and State telecommunications
entities/firms. Acquired numerous bid opportunities nationwide involving OSP
Engineering and Construction requiring underground, aerial and subaqueous
construction as well as directional drilling. Acquired bid packages, attended
pre-bid meetings, performed field surveys of potential bid jobs, secured
material and subcontractor pricing then prepared estimates to present to
senior management. Prepared bid bond request forms, contract proposal review
forms, bid review forms and communication with new and existing customers.
Provided personal and professional assistance to acquire contractors licenses
in LA, MS, AL and CA through personal relationships with little or no
difficulty via the telephone and internet.

Responsible for business development throughout the United
States in the telecommunications, ITS, gas distribution and transmission
pipeline industries .Personally repositioned the company with gas and oil
companies as well as major general contractors following negative
circumstances from past endeavors through my personal association with
principals of the aforementioned entities. Additionally in the gas
distribution industry secured and completed vendor qualification
documentation for numerous new client bases nationwide.

· Responsible
for telecommunications and ITS projects throughout the southeast to include
development of new client base , vendor relations, project acquisition, bid
preparation, manpower and equipment scheduling/acquisition, project
implementation, project management, budget administration/monitoring, safety,
and final acceptance of completed projects with clients.
· Secured
and contracted in excess of twenty-eight million dollars ($28,000,000.00) of
hurricane disaster telephone work in the aftermath of hurricanes Katrina and
Wilma in Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida from BellSouth. This included
aerial construction, splicing of copper and fiber optic cable, conduit
rodding, underground cable removal and fiber jetting.
· Secured
and contracted in excess of four million dollars ($4,000,000.00) of ITS
contracts requiring outside plant construction of underground conduit and
directional drilling.
· Increased
the company revenues by ‘’sixteen (16) times’’ over previous years
while maintaining a very respectable profit margin.
· Updated
entire equipment inventory, increased the size of same four times of what it
was in previous years and implemented a total maintenance program for same.
