Executive/Project Manager(ATT) 27 years network
operations This position was
responsible for the care and integrity of our largest business customers’
telecommunications networks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
were imperative in addition to excellent negotiating skills, and superior
organizational skills. Each Service Executive is responsible for a number of
accounts representing approximately 40 million in annual revenue. Each
Service Executive overseas maintenance and service contracts, service
upgrades, service outages and contract negotiations. This position also
required project managing all multiple upgrades on data products including
platforms, designs, changes, and equipment partnering with Cisco and Avaya.
Worked with provisioning and the NOC on all service issues for these high
profile accounts. Gave presentations to CIO’s and County administrators on
Service Level agreements, sales proposals and contract updates. I was as also
the Emergency coordinator for the NOC North for the Central Coast, Diablo
Canyon Nuclear facility for ATT. I handled all fiber ring upgrades, HiCap
upgrades and all major cable projects in 6 counties in Central California and

(ATT) Prior to this
position I was Area Manager for the Central Coast. Each Area Manager has the
responsibility of approximately 250+ technicians, 7 work locations, 10+ line
managers and 150,000 access lines ranging from residential to high profile
business customers. Annual budget for each Area Manager is 38+ million.
Manager (ATT) Prior to this I
managed 3 work locations including Oceanside, San Jose and Santa Cruz. This
would include personnel, equipment, and daily the workload. Installation of
T-1’s, T-3’s, ATM/Frame relays, copper and fiber outside plant, DSL’s,
ISDN’s. cable damages and cable replacements. Was the DSL contact for the
Central Coast. Worked closely with CWA (Communications workers of
America). Additionally I was the training manager for Oceanside and San
Jose locations for new and existing cable maintenance splicers teaching
rehab, cable replacement, cable design and resistive fault locating theories.
Duties include safety observations, qualities, training, teaching advanced
fault locating, cable management and load balancing. Cable Splicing
Technician (ATT) Started as a copper
cable technician in construction/maintenance, PBX, (Horizon PBX system)
Pots Installation and Repair, digital technologies, Data Platforms, and
broadband technologies. Worked in all areas of the cable splicing title with
att/sbc/PacBell including the placement and splicing of underground cables.
Worked on two temporary management positions before being promoted
permanently. The first was with Construction and Engineering Cable
Reclamation and rehab (PMAC) redesigning outside copper facilities and
upgrading OSP facilities for future growth in aerial and buried facilities.
And the second was with technical support digital technologies (MUX,
