Feasibility and implementation:  Studies of future engineering routes to be cost effective as

well as least impact.                                                                       

 

Design: Managed Engineering and design, drew preliminary as-As-Builts for CAD,Worked in all New England States,

including New York City, South Eastern US,

Gulf Coast region extending from Florida to South Texas and Mid West into Kansas..

Familiar and worked with National Electric code to design aerial placement. Doing make ready

for future construction.

Familiar with pole span storm loading, strand placement .aerial figure eight, storing.cable lashing wire,

bonding and grounding,. material rake off and cost.

Designed underground fiber routes, from cable vault  to manhole/handhole placement. Protection of fiber where outside

companies were involved i.e. gas, electric, storm drains and sewer as well as CATV.

Worked with utility companies, city representatives, R/W and easements, acquiring permits, location of all utilities for underground

builds

 

Construction Management: Selection of contracting companies as per bid and qualifications, oversee work to

completion in a timely manner.Review of As-Builts for accuracy and implementing.

Met with utilities, city officials, contracting companies.and insure OSHA rules were adhered to...   

 

Transmission Managed Restoration of fiber. Worked with Secor splicing equipment (M-67, M-68 and Northern

Telecom), profile alignment spicing, mechanical splicing (ATT Rotary), both single mode as well as mult- mode fiber..

OTDR interitaion prior to construction, during and final as well as restoration.

 

Schooled in light wave transmission DS3, blue cable, battery plant, chargers,HVAC and hydro reading.

proficient splicer of fiber with live traffic. fiber rolls.. Keeping accurate records, and transmission equipment.
