I have over thirty years of telecommunications experience including, but not limited to; project management, fiber optic splicing, OTDR testing, coax splicing, sweep, aerial construction, underground construction, manholes, plan and profiles, osp mapping, isp routing, make-ready engineering and installations. I am proficient with Microsoft Windows and programs such as Excel and Word. I feel confident that my experience gives me the ability to accomplish any task set before me.

Splicer – Performed new build trunk and distribution splicing of the United Artists Cable system in Santa Cruz, California.

Project Supervisor – Supervised fifteen employees and four sub-contractor’s involved in the aerial, underground and    block wire construction of the Brooklyn-Queens Cable system in Brooklyn, New York. Coordinated all splicing, tie in and activation of plant. Responsible for direct supervision of all special projects. Prepared status reports and invoices on a weekly basis.

Field Engineer – Completed over three hundred miles of strand mapping, make-ready engineering and addressing for Heritage Cablevision in Dallas, Texas.

Project Coordinator – Coordinated all projects with the respective supervisor’s in charge of aerial, underground and MDU construction of the Heritage Cablevision system in Dallas, Texas. Supervised all commercial construction projects.

Project Supervisor - Supervised six interior cable and ten terminal drop installation crews on the TRW Local Area Network project at the Robbins Air Force Base, Georgia. Insured that all TRW and MITRE specifications were strictly adhered to. Prepared detailed production reports on a daily basis.

 

October 1983 to June 1985                            TNR Communications Construction, Inc.

Project Supervisor – Supervised ten employees and five sub-contractors involved in the underground construction, splicing and activation of over two hundred miles of plant for TeleCable of Plano in Texas.

Supervised twenty employees performing maintenance on the Heritage Cablevision system in Dallas, Texas.

 

September 1981 to October 1983                            Warner-Amex Cable Communications, Inc.

Commercial Supervisor – Evaluated construction feasibility of all commercial projects such as high-rise office buildings, schools, colleges, hotels, motels, police and fire departments. Engineered all commercial projects, prepared labor/material estimates and supervised all project construction.

Underground Supervisor – Supervised two contractors involved in the construction, splicing and activation of five miles of plant per week. Responsible for quality control and verification of billing of all completed plant. Supervised support staff of three employees.

MDU Supervisor – Supervised the postwire/prewire, aerial/underground, splicing and activation of one thousand units per month. Supervised support staff of three employees.

MDU Inspector – Daily and final inspection of all construction and splicing in MDU Complexes.
