§ Oversee an average of 200 employees on a daily basis
for
safety
and internal theft concerns. Enforce company policies
for
the safety for employees, customers and vendors. Proper
lifting
and slip, trip, and fall hazards that can be prevented.
§ Hold Daily, Weekly, and Monthly SAFETY meetings with
employees
thru out the store. Ensure that all employees get a
current
copy of the store’s safety numbers and goals and
review
with all employees. Complete DAILY SAFETY reviews
and document any issues found to be corrected ASAP.
§ Investigate all incidents for causality claims.
§ Use a LRT Gun while completing Daily, Weekly, and
Monthly
cycle
counts. Ensure counts are correct with Store’s Computer
system.
If not correct, correct inventory in the store’s PC and
start
an Investigation into why items are missing.
§ Investigate external theft and conduct interviews in
compliance
with all local and state laws for court.

§ Oversee that my assigned store meets Inventory numbers
and
current
safety goals. Oversee receiving standards to prevent
inventory
shrink due to receiving items in regards to vendors
and
getting credit for damaged items.
§ Ensure Hazmat program is followed by both employees
and
vendors.
Teach all New Hires and tender employees the
correct
way to deal with a Hazmat spill and the correct way to
imply
all equipment needed to kill the spill. Have also been
thru
several classes dealing with both EPA and OSHA. Record
keeping
on items. Obtaining MSDS sheets for both customers
and
employees.
§ I have been trained in the retail part of the store
from reading a
P&L,
gross margin reports, financial
reports,
and over all understanding of the making money Gross income.
