RJE Telecom, Crafton, Pa, Contract FIOS Design Engineer                                          2013 – 2014

 

United Network Services, Lemont Furnace, PA, Procurement/Operations Manager            2010 – 2013 Identified critical data, devised data collection implementation within existing processes,

analyzed results, assigned general ledger accounts into functional cost pools.  Identified cost

drivers and created loaded unit costs to be assigned to products and services.  Applied derived

margins based on volume/market to products and services.  Prepared Financial Return models

calculating payback period and rate of return on investment. Analyzed Return Models utilizing

recurring expense, non-recurring expense/capital and time value of money concepts.  

 

W.D. Wright Construction, Beaver Falls, PA, Construction Manager                                   2009 - 2010

Created a new accounting system, hired linemen/splicers for a start up operation, managed

all aerial and underground telecom construction from Meyersdale to Vandergrift Pa. Created

work processes and functions to compliment Verizon billing systems.  Mapped all work

performed with functional task codes and strict adherence to contract specifications.

Network Engineer, Manager Construction, Manager Installation, Mgr Customer Svc

Responsible for design and project management of large scale highway, bridge and

community projects.  Record cost, manage budgets, develop process improvement, and

negotiate with Government and private principles. Managed large groups of unionized associates

adhering to contractual obligations and labor relations law.

 

Bell Atlantic (formerly Bell of PA), Pittsburgh, PA   Strategic Planning Analyst              1987 - 1992                                             

Prepared bottom up budgets for Western Pa corporate real estate holdings (200+ facilities),

including all associated maintenance. Utilized corporate financial modeling applications to

analyze lease versus buy, customized build to suit with lease purchase models.  Negotiated and

purchased the corporate training facility, Scott Twp, Pa.  Created and executed the build to suit

lease buy back of the corporate financial building, Monroeville, Pa.  Executed total floor lease

agreements in Gateway and Smithfield St buildings, Pittsburgh. Prepared all financial modeling

for the Meadowlands Facility, Washington, Pa.

 

 

 

Bell Communications Research, Piscataway, NJ   Construction Planning Analyst               1985 – 1987

Created space facility block plans, construction budgets, organizational assignments of space,

and executed the financial construction/move plan and ultimate occupancy of eight (8) major

research facilities in New Jersey as result of the divestiture of Bell and AT&T.

Responsible for assigning overhead costs by utilizing a corporate overhead distribution system

assigning all overhead through iteration techniques and load point breaks to research projects

and organizations.
