QUALICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    Field Coordinator:

Ø       3G Overlay for wireless carriers (AT&T, Cingular)

Ø       Upgrade from existing 850 GSM to 1900 GSM and 1900 UMTS.

Ø       Oversee the construction of the upgrade thru contractors conducting the work.

Ø       Oversee the installation of antenna, hard line coax, jumpers, and new connector.

Ø       Insure of final system sweep to meet required specs.

Ø       Directed sub contractor per AWS scope of work.

Ø       Walk-down of Cingular cell sites, purpose is up-grade for GSM.

Ø       Inspection of aerial construction fiber to the cell tower for Verizon.

Ø       Long haul fiber placement CSI Program for Windstream.

    Field Engineer on the Metro Media Fiber Network:

Ø       Supervised new build construction for cable ducts, rod and roping and fiber placement, for San Francisco

Area Market of MFN Fiber Network.  Acted as area manager field coordinator with city inspectors, permitted groups and sub contractors.

Ø       Supervised field inspectors, reviewed quantity and daily reports.

Ø       OSP receiving the technical attributes for final close out of fiber placement.

Ø       Responsible for segment completion from engineering design, permitting and structure construction through

       cable placement, testing and final turnover package development, conduit and manhole installations, and proofing       

       and fiber test.

Ø       Prepared scope of work packaging for Bechtel built segments and cable placement.

Ø       Supervised, schedule and monitored work activities of subcontractors and inspectors.

Ø       Reviewed and approve inspector’s quantities & daily reports. Reviewed and approved monthly subcontractor

       invoices, as built drawing etc.

Ø       OSHA trained and certified Lucent Fiber Certificate for placement Cal-Train Union Pacific Certified.

    Underground Inspector:

Ø       Responsibilities included fiber placements, boring, trenching, plowing, splicing, hand-holes, red-line, rodding, roping and verification of as-built drawings.

Ø       Inspection of VRAD conduit plumbing for power and fiber to the VRAD cabinet, per construction drawing from AT&T.

Ø       Other Duties include safety of contractors work in the fields.  Knowledge of specs for telecom conduit installation.

Ø       Knowledge of aerial construction and inspection

    Underground Supervisor/Foreman:

Ø       Responsible for daily reports, quantity of products, biweekly reports. Ensure the crew was complying with all

        safety rules and regulations.

Ø       Responsible for the installation of broad-band for ATT.

Ø       Utilized existing routing, in some cases the same structure was over-ridden including placement of manhole

       and pedestals.

Ø       Fiber placement included coax, and RG6 Feeder.

Ø       Experience in GO 95 overhead construction.

Ø       Route development, pre-field engineer back-bone and laterals for wireless carriers.

OSP RUS Data collector

Ø       Collecting RUS pole data for the GOOGLE HTTP program in Austin Tx. Collecting make-ready date on Austin Power utility poles, all information gathered on Tough Pad.

Ø       Collecting RUS pole data for Baily County Power in Muleshoe Tx.

National Communications Training Centers ~ Fiber Optic Association Certification.

Ø       Received 30 RCDD and 12 Installation BICSI credits.

Technical Training: Over 105 hours of intensive hands-on training in the following:

Fiber Optic Cable

Ø       Termination of more than 50 connectors (ST and SC)

Ø       Fusion Splicing - Fiber Splice Enclosures preparation (Tyco, Coyote, Corning)

Ø       Cable (Corning and Pirelli ribbon) up to 432 counts.

Ø       Site plan interpretation – distribution of high-count fiber to homes.

Ø       Power Meter and OTDR testing.

Copper Cable

Ø       Cat3/5/6 and high-pair termination, test and troubleshooting.

Ø       Training on FLUKE Certification Tester.
