Qualifications

Have done strand mapping to full blown asbuilts and managed several jobs including aerial and ug construction. Have done make ready surveys, all types of permits including local, state dot and railroads, joint use surveys, pole audits including sound and bore, QC of construction (aerial and UG) and other related jobs, fiber pipeline inspection(aerial and u.g.) and cell tower fiber backhaul surveys.  Also can run Microsoft word and excel. Have exp. using Trimbles.  We also do data collection and gps work.

 

Work History

1973-1981      I worked for cable t.v. and telephone construction contractors. I worked for Kennedy Cable, Burnap and Sims, Jackson Comm., A.E.L. Comm., Able Com, Pinebelt Comm., A.M. Comm. Consolidated Construction, and Com Co Construction. I worked as a lineman and foreman on cable and strand crews until 1977. I worked as a splicer and job supervisor until June 1981.

 

 

1981-1993      On July 1 1981 Dean Hurst and myself started Total Cable Construction Inc. We did aerial and underground construction, splicing and activation for Kennedy Cable, Cable Constructors Inc., Johnson Ent. Of Jacksonville, Mills Comm., Wilco-Centel, Early Comm., P.D.Q. Cable, Rite cable, Southland Cable, Broadband Tele Comm. and Advance Cable. We had a prime contract with Scripts Howard in Leesburg Fl. from 1987 to 1993 we did aerial and u.g. construction and strand mapping and design. We had a prime contract with telesat in Tampa Fl. We did aerial and u.g. construction, splicing and activation from 1990 to 1991.

 

1994-Present    In 1994 I and my wife Michelle Meadors started West Florida Inc. We did underground construction until 1996. We worked for Cable Constructors Inc. in Hernando-Citrus county Fl. In July of 1996 we started doing mapping and make ready surveys. We have worked for Precision Valley Comm., Cable Eng. Inc., Cadd Services Group, Internet International, Advanced Broadband System Services Inc., Design Extenders Inc., Wirevison, Hal-Tec, Telics, CCE, Alpine, Advance 1, Southern Engineering, Truevance Comm., PDQ, Telnics, Corenet Services Inc., Nexlink, Kennedy network services, Noble inspecting and locating service, Atlantic Engineering Group, Knight ENT., ARP utilities, map masters, spectrum planning, And L&R Construction.
