·               IT architect for Cunard Cruise Limited relocation to Princess Cruise Lines Santa Clarita’s California’s data center. Consulted with multiple business and technical levels to integrate Cunard’s systems into Princess IT operations, down to the desktop.

·               The sole project designer and technical architect for this 160-year-old cruise line. Responsible for entire Windows server environment and technical project planning; which included the complete reservations system, DB2 and SQL databases, Hyperion (Brio), Datamart application servers and user training.

·               Primary IT architect at EDS’s Miami account; managed on-site engineers. Responsible for entire server, networking, data security and privacy needs, in addition to project planning in this complete large scale onsite IT outsource contract. Billion-dollar organization.

·               Created information security, network and server infrastructure policies and procedures; Cisco router and switch infrastructure, global (5 sites) network design, and overall administration. Planned and completed multiple datacenter moves, in South Florida and San Francisco.

·               Supported and developed technology that was fundamental to business processes in the distribution of thousands of food and beverage items shipped globally to hundreds of international ports each year; in addition to developing technology for warehousing items. The distribution system used custom written code on multiple ship and shore based AS/400 systems that linked into PeopleSoft ERP.

Principally focused on external and internal network / security infrastructure deployment planning and implementation; key eHealth partner with AT&T in multiple states and primary developer behind the federal BlueCross BlueShield Association.

·               While working with a billion dollar global cruise line my major responsibilities included managing the LAN/WAN networking group – designing the entire global network, developing justifications, writing project plans, evaluating technologies, component level installation, and support on a global level.

·               Revolutionized cruise ship communications on a global scale as the technical designer; Responsible for planning, testing, and implementing a private digital multiplexed fractional T1 facility for voice, data and fax to replace an analog L-band Inmarsat system – a multi-million dollar annual profit center.

·               Designed, configured, and implement the network access methodology Norwegian Cruise Lines uses to access its Internet based on-line reservation booking engine – NCL.com.

·               Handled, on-site, the partnership with NBC and the Olympic Committee to coordinate the telecommunication and broadcast video on a cruise ship in Barcelona, Spain - 1992.

·               Built an MVS mainframe datacenter from scratch. This involved the installation of over 40 vendor products and the complete IBM OS facility – including OS/390, JES2, VTAM/NCP, RACF, AFP/PSF, CICS and many others.
