Senior Field Engineer, Intermec Technologies, March 1999 - July 2008

Complete responsibility for installation and maintenance of 802.11 wireless Cisco and Intermec devices for customers in San Diego County, Orange County, Tijuana, and Mexicali. Responsibilities included 2.4GHz RF site lead for Intermec’s professional services organization to perform 802.11 wireless site surveys, and assist in network designs.  This included preparing the final survey reports for customers.  Complete responsibility for installation and configuration of wireless networks using both Intermec and Cisco 802.11 RF equipment and Cisco networking devices including routers and switches.  Onsite troubleshooting and repair of existing wireless networks, handheld computers, and thermal printers.
