Network Administrator for the CAAN-C NKC hub site. Primary network SME support for satellite sites. Responsible for enforcing regulations and standards as directed by upper echelon management and engineers. Responsible for providing RMF artifacts for certification and Accreditation requirements to ensure the network was compliant to security standards.

* Technical responsibilities included, but not limited to: Layer 2 and Layer 3 network maintenance and administration of a primary hub site in Afghanistan. Support of numerous satellite sites with SME knowledge and direction. Installation of Access, Distribution, and Core Switches in accordance with STIGs to follow approved baselines and ensure network security.

*Professional responsibilities include: Receipt and delivery of directed requirements, proper documentation, daily accountability, and changeover procedures. Maintenance of logs to ensure auditing of administrator activity and proper shift transitions.

Trained oncoming Network administrators and subordinate sites proper maintenance procedures and SOPs to ensure the GKMA Army networks were secured.

Align Communications Network Operations Engineer

Member of the IT Operations group at Align Communications Inc. providing support for 15 Clients ranging from financial firms (Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.) to retail distributers (Marc Jacobs Inc.). Assisting clients in monitoring networks, managing servers, hosting Infrastructure as a Service, advising solutions, and infrastructure design.

* Technical responsibilities included, but not limited to: Ticket processing, Engineer consultation, Vendor escalation, Workload redistribution, Incident resolution, and Process documentation. Client support to include troubleshooting network connectivity issues, exchange environment analysis, IPT emergency call forwarding. Integral part of client BCPs and DRPs assisting our customers in all outages and incidents. Developed SOPs to reduce client MTTR and updated all stale documentation to ensure BCPs and DRPs proceeded smoothly.

* Professional responsibilities include project management, escalation support, documentation, scheduling vendor support, engaging clients, and sales. Additional responsibilities include maintenance of facilities, shipping\receiving packages, monitoring cameras for security. Provided physical security controls for unauthorized access to the data center as outlined in policies and procedures.

Marine Corps Cyber Systems Specialist/ Information Assurance Officer Deployed Joint Command and Control System

Deployed as a Network/Systems administrator for the Deployed Joint Command and Control System focusing in the Marine Forces Central Command. The responsibilities of the unit was to provide command and control logistics support utilizing 4 military networks, satellite communications, radio communications and numerous other facilities as needed by the Marine Corps.

* Technical responsibilities included, but were not limited to, the installation, configuration, design, implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting of various mission-critical technologies. Additional responsibilities and activities included but not limited to 2nd level support for general systems administration, technical support/training of new technical professionals, 2nd/3rd level support of various LAN/WAN issues. 
* Professional responsibilities included project management, escalation support, following Marine Corps policies and procedures, documentation, and scheduling as needed reports to management. 

Implementing and managing the Public Key Infrastructure of a mobile satellite site including distribution of tokens, maintaining local CRLs, configuring and administrating Active directory for utilization of physical token utilization.

Maintaining Authority To Operate for four Marine Corps Networks and assisting with the CnA with Network diagrams and System configurations. Patching and updating as required by security requirements and STIGs.

* Developed numerous Information Assurance system upgrades to include Common Access Card Logon, PKI infrastructure, and Firewalls to improve network security.
* Effectively managed, designed, and configured a complex, multinational, enterprise level LAN/WAN infrastructure for several locations across America which resulted in high availability and performance of an annual uptime of 99.95%.

Marine Corps Tactical Data Network Non-Commissioned Officer

Operation Enduring Freedom

Deployed as a Network administrator for 2nd Marine Logistics Battalion in Afghanistan consisting of over 700 users, 14 servers, 80 switches, and 4 military Networks. Required to build, maintain and administrate servers for the 4 different networks from scratch, focusing on Network security and functionality.                    

* Lead a team of professionals responsible for handling the overall support and administration of various enterprise technologies located within a complex LAN/WAN infrastructure while maintaining, improving, and providing solutions for various LAN/WAN related issues while minimizing downtime caused by technology.
* Technical responsibilities included, but were not limited to, the installation, configuration, design, implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting of various mission-critical technologies.
* Professional responsibilities included project management, escalation support, following Marine Corps policies and procedures, documentation, and scheduling as needed reports to management. 
* Additional responsibilities included but were not limited to monitoring of network assets using monitoring software and standard operation procedures, as needed technical support/training technological control of hardware, and system control of services.

Training junior Marines how to administer Network devices and System servers securely as defined by policies and procedures. Writing policies, procedures and STIGs to better integrate junior Cyber Marines.

Marine Corps Tactical Data Network Specialist

Operation Iraqi Freedom

Deployed as a Network administrator for Combat Logistics Battalion 46 in Iraq consisting of over 500 users, 10 servers, 50 switches, and 4 military Networks. Required to build, maintain and administrate servers for the 4 different networks from scratch, focusing on Network security and functionality. Acted as the main helpdesk for over 500 users.

* Technical responsibilities included, but were not limited to, the installation, configuration, design, implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting of various mission-critical technologies. Additional responsibilities and activities included but not limited to 2nd level support for general systems administration, as needed technical support/training of new technical professionals, creating websites and other various improvements of the existing system.
* Professional responsibilities included project management, escalation support, following Marine Corps policies and procedures, documentation, and scheduling as needed reports to management. 
Developed a secure website with federated log-on for use with OPS and FOPS. Website technical and physical security had to be configured and maintained to the utmost assurance to protect the classified information it contained.
