Title : AdSys – Admin Systems.

Client: Harvard Business School , Boston, MA

Role: Onsite - Project Lead

Description    : AdSys acts a gateway to Course system by managing the program applications/registrations, collecting program fees and granting user access rights to course platform

Admin functionalities includes, Managing the application, registrations, participants, payment details, user accounts and Organizations.

 

Responsibilities:

·  Design and development of the application enhancements on the AdSys.

·  Generation of daily reports to track and review Change Requests, Service requests by business users.

·  One to one meeting with client and manager to discuss and resolve blocking issues and discuss next week’s plan.

·  Coordination with offshore team for fixes and technical queries.

·  Review of all fixes delivered by offshore team and providing sign-off.

·  Coordination and interaction with business team for resolution of issues and queries on bug fixing.

·  Resolve critical requests (requests for urgent changes to the applications) from business/ end users.

·  Executing and delivering critical reports based on the requests from business analysts/end users.

·  Reviewing the break fixes requests from business users/analysts and doing the preliminary impact analysis, feasibility and proposing solution.

Description    : eTreaty is the reinsurance treaty reference application used by Chartis US to manage the information, data and rules relevant to processing policy, claim and accounting functions for domestic reinsurance treaties.

eTreaty International:

The goal of International Treaty project is to provide a single source of entry for all treaties both domestic and international. The selection of the eTreaty application permits Chartis to leverage the current domestic treaty entry application to accomplish the goal of single entry. Key to facilitating the processing of treaty information is the existence of a single repository for the treaty information.

Title : Grant Warehouse

Client: Elsevier, Oxford, UK

Role: Onsite - Project Lead

Description    : Grant Warehouse is the Elsevier’s grants repository which is a robust scalable professional workflow system which supports receipt from multiple suppliers (through different modes of receipt like FTP, SFTP), automated data validation, versioning, data enrichment through third party interface and enriched data delivery to more than one customer. This application leverages Oracle 11g’s XML feature for storing supplier xmls. The application comprises of two components. Batch and Web application. Batch application takes care of data receipt, enrichment and delivery process whereas the web application complements the batch processes by providing UI components to view / search batches received, xmls received and delivered.

 

Responsibilities:

·  Gather the requirements from Clients, detailed design (Framework & Application design), development, testing and deployment.

·  Detailed Class diagram and Sequence diagram were developed using Rational Software Architect to help developers start construction straight away.

·  As part of Framework design I developed core components like FTP Adapter, Mail component.

·  Was part of Web application design wherein we defined the complete web framework using Spring MVC and identified classes for all business use cases.

·  Assign work to the team members and technical guidance to them and review of the deliverables from onsite.

Title : Lexis Nexis Statutes Conversion

Client: Lexis Nexis, Ohio, USA.

Description: Statutes Conversion transforms the CRE xml into readable Richie text format as part of old Lexis Nexis to the new Lexis Nexis requirement and Statutes modernization program. Converting the Statutes content to interim XML is the top most priority of the program. In the new Lexis world, Lexis Nexis wants to move statutory content from the current CRE XML to a rich XML based on new schema.

Responsibilities:

·  Gather the requirements from Clients, design, Planning and task allocation and development also mentor the team members.

·  Developed the transformation tool which converts the CRE xml into Richie text format.

·  Developed the xpath extraction and element extraction tool to analyze the provided CRE xml.

·  Involved in weekly/monthly status calls with business and tracking the risks and issues in an effective manner

·  Mentoring the new joiners and imparting domain knowledge to them

Title : MAS Scopus Admin Tool

Description: Market analysis system (MAS) generates reports utilized across the business. This system utilizes ISI and Scopus data as the basis for reporting. The admin tool is an application for the creation and management of schemas. Schema in MAS specifies the subsets of journal data, in order to meet the Elsevier reporting requirements. A schema is hierarchy, represented by a tree like structure.  Using this table, user will able to create new schema, move the subsets from one schema to another schema, edit/delete a schema or subset of a schema.

Medicare Reporting project used to create the reports of their pharmacy details in excel, PDF and html format.

Title : Signature Storage and Retrieval

Client: Target, Minneapolis, USA.

Description: The SSR (Signature Storage & Retrieval) system is an application which allows the storage of an electronic copy of a guest’s signature as well as providing an interface for the retrieval & display of the electronically stored signatures. The electronically stored signatures reside on a series of large DB2 tables, which reside on the Target host mainframe environment.

Responsibilities:

·  Involved in the requirement analysis

·  Involved in the preparing Class diagram and Sequence diagram in the design phase

·  Developed the UI screens which are used by the fraud detection comity to verify the guest signature with the stored signature.

·  Involved preparing test execution document and test case document for client testing

·  Involved bug fixing

Title : Image Repository II

Client: ACNielsen, Shamburg, USA.

Role: Senior Developer

Description: The Image Repository System addresses the capturing of images via a camera station and the delivery of images to D/PC via DVD data discs and FTP. The System also includes the check-in process, image approval process and the loading of images to the ePics repository which will eventually be used in the item coding process. The system interacts with the Item Coding system for completing the coding process.

 

Responsibilities:

·  Documented all functional documents

·  Performed the impact analysis for the changes

·  Successfully implemented the business driven changes using J2EE, Java, SQL, and Oracle, and Prepared Unit Test Cases.

·  Successfully wrote DB Migration script to sync up the two components involved in Image Repository.
