Sr. Consulting Manager
IBM
BPM/Lombardi Teamworks, Sr. BPM/SOA Consultant
September 2010 to Present
Working as part of BPM COE team in a
large organization in power generation sector. I have lead development and
implementation of several process automation projects including, Wind Farm
Development, Planned Position Strategy and Project Finance business processes.
Some of major challenges that we have solved with BPMS are scheduling and
tracking of activities and visibility for management. All our BPM
applications are integrated with corporate LDAP, Documentum ECM, trade and
partner management system and GIS.
I also managed IBM BPM upgrade project
where we upgraded from Lombardi Teamworks process applications to IBM
Business Process Manager 8.5
Responsibilities:
Working as onsite consultant responsible
for process modeling, gathering system requirements and solution
architecture and design. Also responsible for managing offshore development
team to ensure on time and quality delivery of product. I am also actively

Lombardi
Teamworks 6.2.2 to IBM BPM 8.5 Upgrade
January 2014 to September 2014
Worked as technical project manager for
upgrade from Lombardi Teamworks 6.2.2 to IBM BPM 8.5. I worked with
offshore BPMS development team and onsite client’s team to develop a
solution for the upgrade provided constraints from business that system
cannot be unavailable on a weekday and all applications have to be upgraded
one by one with all instances migrated from Lombardi to IBM BPM.
Responsibilities:
I was responsible for the project
starting from preparing the migration approach, doing POCs, preparing and
executing project SOW, coordinating user acceptance testing and performing
deployment and migration of process applications and instances in
production environment.
The
biggest challenge was to come up with a solution that allows for one at a
time migration of existing BPM applications running in Lombardi Teamworks
environment. We took a different approach than what IBM recommends in order
to meet our specific requirement and constraints. We were successful in
executing upgrade of all 8 BPM application without any downtime. We
migrated all process instances and made necessary code changes in order to
make process instances work without interruption in new environment. We
were able to complete the project under budget and 3 months ahead of
schedule.

Worked on Single Point of Entry (SPOE) system in
early 2001 as Technical Team lead. Project was done for fortune 500
Financial Group and a major insurance provider in North America. The

process data on existing mainframes system.
CLExpress, an enhancement of SPOE, started in August
2003. Purpose of this improvement was to provide a web application for
insurance agents to help them transition from paper based forms to eFroms.
Integrations were built with SPOE application to automatically start data
process as soon as eForms are submitted by the agents, taking
responsibility of data entry off the insurance specialists’ hands.
Partner Legacy Update System (PLUS) followed the
success of SPOE and CLExpress and took the system to a further level of
complexity by interfacing with SAP. Started in October 2005, a set of
integrations were built to capture data from CLExpress and SAP and submit
for processing to SPOE which is finally submitted to the legacy mainframe
systems.
