Key Projects and Milestones: Intricity – At the second largest food
distributor in the US, Calla led the organization through the current to
future state, deployment plan and roadmap for a multi-domain master data
management solution of product, customer and item. As the solution architect,
Calla was responsible for the overall solution design and management of risk,
requirements traceability from business specifications through test scenario
creation. Calla oversaw the infrastructure to support the project and data
integration pathways between the domains, metadata lineage, and
associated reference data sets. California State Automobile Association –
Project Lead and Architect. Calla managed a group of 22 resources, client,
consulting and outsourced, through an 18 month conversion of Auto and Home
legacy application data with previous data warehouse data into newly
architected Business Intelligence system. Calla designed the data integration
pathways, workflow strategy and managed the SDLC process through to
deployment. During the length of the project, she was also responsible for
client communications including steering committee status reports, risk
mitigation plans and resource planning. Convergent Inc. – Solution Architect. For
an audit recovery firm, Calla provided a Big Data Solution, and designed an
MPP and hadoop based environment to provide advanced analytics for structured
and unstructured data. This provided a flexible and robust platform for
Convergent to drive business functions around customer churn, segmentation
and dialer predictive analytics. The system can easily be extended into web
analytics and incorporate social media interactions. JPD Financials – Solution Architecct. Calla
implemented a cloud solution to provide vendor management and integration to
the SalesForce data for another financial services client. Calla designed the
data model, the integration processing from SFDC and 50+ clients into a
unique view of the vendor with address doctor validation all in the cloud
space. The enhanced vendor information is then fed back into SalesForce for
reporting and processing business requirements. The solution is being
extended to cloud database hosting and qlikview reports for management dash
boarding capabilities and predictive analytics. FDNY – IT Manager. While managing data
delivery at the Fire Department of New York City , Calla lead the
solutions architecture and client, QA and IBM contracting teams to repair and
implement the successful deployment of a risk based scheduling system for
FDNY. The risks were rendered back to the business community via data
visualization and dashboards for tuning and prioritizing the predictive
models. IBM – SAP Lenovo Split
Project Lead. Ms. Knopman was the lead for two individual internal IBM projects
to split the Lenovo product supply chain and financials to support the sale.
Calla was responsible for managing the data split functionality and testing
with global resources in a follow the sun methodology. Both projects, ledger
