Tailored and monitored the SDLC process and QA standards for Prime and Sub-contractors, including compliance with DOD standards.  Developed technical aspects of other special projects supporting naval systems computer based training.  Coordinated all aspects of R&D software production integration and testing for specific ship electronic systems (land/satellite communications, sensors, and weapons systems) and provided software and engineering support for a $2 billion software development contract for the Canadian Navy.  Supervised a team of 25 technologists with responsibilities for their daily work assignment, training, administration, careers planning, welfare and discipline.  Appointed as the ship's Sr. Engineering Officer and supervised a team of 25 technologists for the operations, maintenance, and repairs of the ship’s complex combat electronic systems, including mechanical systems.  Assumed leadership of a 12 member diving team for tactical and emergency operations.
