·  Implementing EMC Document Management System throughout the campus with connection to the Banner ERP in phases consisting of individual departments until entire university is up, running, and in-sync.

·  Managing patching and upgrades to the Oracle Database and ERP Application (Banner).

·  Converting custom SQL Server Scripts and Oracle SQL Scripts into PL/SQL procedures or packages to be used in creating Java jobs for batch processing.

·  Primary support of Banner HR/Payroll, Finance, and Student AR modules and reporting needs in Banner 8.

·  Implemented the interface bridge between campus bookstore POS (SQL Server 2005) and Banner Financial Services/AR.

2.               Texas Workforce Commission Quarterly reporting.

3.               Bookstore interface that feed charges for students, departments, and athletes to AR.

5.               Course and section catalog registration numbers for university classes to assist bookstore in textbook requisition for current and future semesters.

6.               Mass Email Distribution List for several entities of the campus.

7.               ASP web app that allows HBU helpdesk employers reset SSB and/or Active Directory account.

8.               Reconfigured several needed Talend jobs running on LINUX to run in Windows.

9.               Written additional Talend jobs to load data into Banner for various departments across the campus

November 2005 – February 2007Retek Production Support Specialist Irving, TX

·  Provided on-call support to Batch Production Scheduling running nightly for AAFES stores all over the world.

·  Provided immediately support to daily production issues for Business Analysts and users.

·  Optimized performances of PL/SQL and Pro*C modules, and Kornshell and SQL Scripts.

·  Created Oracle forms for automation of new inventory items such as books, cards, and etc. to introduce them to the RMS system.

·  Enhanced and modified code to account for defects for given modules.

·  Created SQL Scripts used to modify components in RMS base table to assist with data migration from legacy systems for data integrity.

1.       Investigated issues with Oracle baseline code and forms to log for fixes and provide solutions.

Robert Half Management Resources (Self-Employed Contractor)

November 2005 – May 2006Banner ConsultantNashville, TN

·   Created custom reports and update processes using Pro*C adhering to SCT Banner Standard Reporting.

1.   A report to track variances in employee earnings, taxes/deductions, and benefits.  The report utilizes personnel and payroll information in reconciling a current pay cycle to a previous pay cycle with a summary. 

2.   Ad hoc Banner submission process updating the FICA Max from changes sent by the governing bodies.

3.   An update module used for the next two years to update the salary of employees with summer earnings. The module also generates a report consisting of data before and after update.

·                              Created update scripts to capture data and check whether records require update.  The process updates deferral balances for all 9 month employees paid over 12 months for initial go-live.

·                              Created a stored package used to roll employee’s leave balance overage to their sick leave category.  The updated Pro*C piece (Banner Baseline) calls the stored package/procedure to update employee information monthly and process a table roll at the end or beginning of a fiscal year to meet the requirements.

·                              Created custom Oracle Reports for Finance module of SCT Banner.

1.   Generated a report using data from legacy system to reconcile with the Banner system for a Clearing Account checks applied to student accounts on legacy system and load into Finance for reconciliation.

2.   Generated a Cash Reconciliation report for batch checks ran for Accounts Payable

3.   Generated a combination report for Budget Summary by Organization for expenditures and revenue funds of the Operating Account Ledger in addition to modifying the report-to-report Budget Summary by Major Categories of the Operation Account Ledger.

·                              Created SQL Scripts and Shell Scripts for schools to utilize to execute processes as well as add the processes to the front end application used by the user to submit job requests for the custom Oracle and Pro*C Reports.
