Bernie Silver and I created DynaFlite Golf Balls which in our first year captured 95% of the Golf Ball Business in America. I open and ran 200 stores selling odd lot sporting goods driven by our DynaFlyte ads.

·               The Mood Ring.  The mood ring was created in 1975 by Josh Reynolds who went to Skip Weingeroff, the largest custom jewelry retailer at that time, to market his invention. Skip called me up and asked me if I could get around Josh’s patent---the patent was based on bonding or sealing the Bezel (stone) to the heat sensitive paper. I explained that if we don’t seal the bezel we are not in violation of the paten. A few days later Skip learned that just before I had told him how to beat the patent, David Geller and I had bought ALL of the heat sensitive paper from 3M so Skip was forced to do business with me and David Geller. We sold $600 MILLION worth of cheap mood rings in the next 6 months because I beat the patent filed by Josh.

·               Educate America Today. The Show I created and own that Launched Quicken. Founder/CEO of Quicken (Intuit), Scott Cook, asked me to help launch Quicken by putting him and his product called Quicken on my Educate America Today infomercial starring Bill Bixby. My old friend, the late actor, Bill Bixby, and I created an infomercial selling 70 Educational Games I wrote. I put Scott Cook on my infomercial and gave away Quicken as a free bonus. My infomercial launched Quicken and was the most successful infomercial in history—pulling $76 for every $1 of TV time, that show grossed $486 MILLION the first year.

·               Life Extension™ with Durk Pearson & Sandy Shaw. Put Durk Pearson & Sandy Shaw in an infomercial I OWN with Merv Griffin to promote their book “Life Extension” and launch the Life Extension Company.

·               Youth Extension™ with Durk Pearson & Sandy Shaw™.  Wrote, produced, directed and OWN this infomercial with Durk Pearson & Sandy Shaw selling youth products.

·               Verbal Judo™.  Wrote & produced "Verbal Judo” Infomercial that became the most successful management course in the world. Personally convinced Joy Pincus, Los Angeles City Councilwoman, into getting the entire City Council of Los Angeles to mandate that every police officer must be trained in Verbal Judo. Today, every police officer in California is required to take Verbal Judo, and it is used today to train over 5,000 Police Departments, F.B.I., Secret Service, and Homeland Security in interrogation techniques & hostage negotiation. Trained F.B.I., Homeland Security, & military interrogators in Guantanamo Bay.

·               Game Marketing. Produced and OWN a half hour TV infomercial for Entropia Universe that currently does $2 BILLION a year in sales. I wrote, produced, directed, & was cameraman for my game infomercial.
I bought all of the TV time for this show that got over 1,000 downloads for every $1 of TV time.

·               Over 100 Famous Celebrity Infomercials. Wrote, produced, directed and OWN over 100 Famous Celebrity Infomercials selling products I invented. I am an experienced negotiator in resolving conflicts with union crews & celebrities. Personally negotiated with over 600 celebrities and cut out their agents.

·               Plenum Publishing, Inc., NY.  Editor-in-Chief of Russian Journals Division. Traveled to Russia monthly to meet with scientists to go over our translations of their articles for accuracy. Negotiated with Russian government on behalf of U.S. interests to help Russian scientists defect.

·               Successfully developed deals with governments of Dominican Republic, Mexico & Latin America to market my products. My wife’s uncle was Joaquin Balaguer, President of the Dominican Republic which allowed us to socialize with presidents, military leaders, and wealthiest families in Latin America & Mexico. Developed close friendships with Gustavo Cisneros in Latin America and Emilio Azcárraga, CEO of Grupo Televisa in Mexico. My wife works on benefit of Obama’s cabinet as a liaison to Latin American Presidents.

·               Cognitive Psychology & Website Design. As a medical student at Mount Sinai Medical School I studied Cognitive Psychology and did post graduate work under Dr. Ken Nealson at Scripps Institution of Oceanography in Statistical Models, Analysis, Applied Math, and Statistical Hypothesis Testing for Human Factors and Cognitive Psychology that examines how sensory input is transformed into beliefs and actions through the process of cognition. Formed a partnership with the famous David Geller who owned the remnant space, i.e., unsold ad space, in 13,000 newspapers and magazines. David’s cost for a full-page in the N.Y. Times was $6. David and I would take 50% of what your ad grossed, and you would be guaranteed a profit. I worked with all the ad agencies in New York City re-writing their Direct Response Ads using Cognitive Psychology so these ads would pull up to 20 times more sales. 

·               Pioneer in Data Mining & Digital Marketing.  Using Consumer Pattern Recognition, Predictive Statistics, and Consumer Behavior Studies & Census Data to develop SQL algorithms to segment markets into Niches to make decisions on what products customers would buy that created revenues of 10 times sales.

·               Media100 and AVID non-linear Editing Systems. Wrote part of the source code.

·               Green Glow Necklaces™.  I invented those famous “Green Glow Necklaces” when I was robbed in Harlem one night by some teenage kids. I felt sorry for these kids and, the leader, Robert, seemed liked a good kid.  I decided to help them and told them I would come back to Harlem the next day and show them how they could make money without stealing. I had no idea how I would accomplish this, but the next day I saw an ad for Cyalume Light Sticks, an American Cyanimide product.  It was a plastic tube that glowed green. Bought 1,000 Light Sticks at 50 cents each. I bought dry ice, thin plastic tubing, solid plastic rods, and some small metal balls, and showed up on a Harlem street corner. Robert and his friends showed up and I explained my idea.  We opened the sticks and poured the green glowing liquid into a bucket cooled by dry ice. We all sucked up the glowing liquid into the thin plastic tubing that I cut into 14 inch lengths and we sealed both ends with a ball bearing, and one short piece of solid plastic rod so you could close the tubing around your neck to wear it as a Green Glowing Necklace. There was a concert in Central Park where we went to sell the Necklaces. We sold over 10,000 necklaces in a few hours and made $60,000 cash that I let the kids keep.  I asked my friend, Mick Jagger, to help me contact bands and I started selling my necklaces at concerts.  Robert and his friends got 50% of sales and our first year we did over $14 MILLION in sales.

·               Worked on U.S. Army & NSA Sensitive Data Acquisition projects. Also wrote proxy servers for U.S. Army for real-time security. Control and monitoring of systems handling 10,000 unique data inputs per second.  Wrote advanced algorithms in C# to detect imminent system failure, which were used within a Web-based application. Created Web services with security protocols. I overcame the concurrency issues of 1,000,000 rows of data.

·               Designed and developed Multi-Tiered Secured Web Sites for Police Departments & Military Surveillance Vehicles that used Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) to access backend server.

·               Wrote DirectShow RTSP Filter for Police Cars to play video.  Wrote C++ DirectShow RTSP Source Filter with real-time, Intelligent Video Analytics to handle RTSP from IP cameras and centralized servers. For legal reason we needed to record and store huge amounts of data including video in SQL Server.  I designed and created all backend databases and data warehousing for video data from surveillance vehicles for Police.

·               Camera Wall.  Wrote C++ Multi-Threaded Camera Wall with Intelligent Video Analytics to handle 100 simultaneous IP and non-IP cameras without resorting to DirectShow.

CEO & Sole Owner of this over $500 million a year TV Marketing Company selling a wide variety of products on National TV using over 100 Famous Celebrities I hired & directed.
Today this company I own manages my Commercial Real Estate Empire in Southern California.

My company was 50/50 partners in hundreds of companies with BILLIONAIRE David Geller of David Geller & Associates, Inc., NYC. New York. David Geller was famous in the mail order business because he and I literally controlled the print mail order business in America. David owned the remnant space (i.e., unsold ad space) in 13,000 newspapers and magazines on 99-year contracts dating from the 1940s. David Geller’s cost on a full-page ad in the N.Y. Times was $6. If you bought a full page directly from the N.Y. Times it would $250,000. You could never make a profit at this price, but if you paid David Geller 50% of what your ad grossed, then you would be guaranteed a profit.
I worked with all the ad agencies in New York City taking direct response ads that would never make a profit—and I re-worked the layouts and ad copy using my background in Cognitive Psychology so that ads would pull as much as 10 times more money and I have applied this knowledge and experience in laying out thousands of full-page ads to my work in website design.

·                Quicken Founder/CEO, Scott Cook, asked me to help develop & promote Quicken. I got my friend, actor, Bill Bixby, to host an infomercial I wrote and OWN---repeat I was the sole owner of this show—got it? I wrote 70 EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS in C++ and bundled them with an Apple IIE computer and I gave away Quicken as a bonus—Scott Cook gave me Quicken for FREE and PAID me to help launch Quicken. It was the most successful infomercial ever produced in the history of infomercials, pulling over $76 in sales for every $1 of TV time per day.

·                Designed and built inbound and owned and wrote all the software for outbound 800 telemarketing operations in Utah, California, and Nevada.  Sued AT&T for not reporting call blockage and collected $5 million settlement. Got federal legislation enacted to force AT&T and all phone companies to supply a “Call Blockage Report.”  Orders tripled, and income over $5 million a month for EACH infomercial.

·                Installed Dialogic Boards to automate 800 order processing that increased sales by $20 million.

·                Convinced chains like Kmart, Walmart, GNC, etc. to purchase our products for cash up front before delivery with a no return policy because infomercial time is so effective in driving sales.

·                Pioneered use of Famous Celebrities in Infomercials to market a wide variety of products. Personally negotiated with and hired over 100 Famous Celebrities and cut out their agents.

·                Successfully developed deals with governments of Dominican Republic, Mexico & Latin America to market my products. My wife’s uncle was Joaquin Balaguer, President of the Dominican Republic which allowed us to socialize with leaders and wealthiest families in Latin America & Mexico. Developed close friendships with Gustavo Cisneros in Latin America and Emilio Azcárraga, CEO of Grupo Televisa in Mexico.

HONEY, COVER THE KIDS'S EYES!   IT'S AN INFOMERCIAL!

Hawking makeup, memory tapes and a host of other products, brand-name stars are cashing in with show-length commercials disguised as entertainment ON FIRST VIEWING, AN INFOMERCIAL may seem as strange a beast as, say, a game-show miniseries.    But these half hour-long hybrids of advertising and programming, already familiar to late-night insomniacs, are popping up more frequently in daytime hours on cable and broadcast channels, usually as ersatz talk shows or newsmagazines.     Stars are singing hosannas to finance plans, car wax, crazy kitchen gadgets, and weight-loss systems.  Why?  Mostly, it's not to bolster sagging careers but, as an infomercial might put it, "to maximize hidden earning potential."    Infomercials began in 1984, when the government ended its 12-minute-per-hour limit on TV ads.  Six years later, the "shows"(for which the infomercialist buys  the  airtime)  were raking in over $500 million  a year  in  sales  for  one infomercialist, William Sergio, a major producer of celebrity infomercials.   William Sergio is the multi-millionaire marketing genius who is the leading writer, producer and director of celebrity infomercials airing on national television that are raking in the big bucks.                  Sergio's super successful celebrity infomercials have been featured everywhere from PrimeTime with Diane Sawyer to the Johnny Carson Show.
