As a Sr. Project Manager in the Enterprise Data Warehouse group.

Project Manager for the design, development and deployment of Connecture’s State Advantage product for the ACA Health Insurance Exchange for the State on Minnesota and the District of Columbia.

2009 – 2012   Misys Open Source Solutions

 

Global Program Manager for Misys Professional Services responsible for the Global Project Management Office (PMO). 

·         Instituted a project review process, verified compliance to methodologies and process.

·         Developed global project reporting procedures.

·         Conducted root cause analysis on troubled projects and captured and documented lessons learned. 

 

Project Manager for the Open Source Solutions division,

·         I managed the development and deployment of Connecticut’s first operational Open Source Health Information Exchange (HIE). 

·         Interface with the customer to develop requirements and turn them into statements of work for our development group.

·         Managed both on-shore and off shore development. 

·         I Developed the Master Project Management plan which included the schedule, Risk plan Communications plan, and bi-weekly status reporting.   

·         I was the liaison between the State of CT DPH and Misys for the deployment of an HIE for the Department of Social Services.  This connected 3 hospitals and 2 FQHC’s allowing them to exchange Patient records.

·         Established and manage the Project Management Office for Misys Open Source Solutions.

 

1991 – 2009   IBM Corporation

 

Executive Project Manager for IBM Global Technology Services (GTS) Worldwide.  Responsibilities include:

·         Provided consulting services to strategic outsourcing accounts. 

·         Developed and implemented a program office resulting in increased efficiency and better customer satisfaction. 

·         Develop and deploy project management initiatives to GTS business units worldwide providing a standard project management platform across all geographies in IBM worldwide.

·         Establish and maintain communications with the business unit executives.

·         Interpret and report PM Metrics quarterly to the Project Management Center of Excellence (PM/CoE) and the various business unit executives.

·         Subject matter expert to the PM Curriculum Steering Committee in creating and maintaining PM education.

·         Provide assistance to the PM profession leaders and the PM Certification Board ensuring the company maintains a pipeline of qualified project managers.

             

As a Lead Instructor for IBM Learning Services, I have designed, developed and delivered project management education to both internal IBM colleagues and external customers throughout the world.

·         Developed and delivered many of the class offerings available to employees as part of advanced PM education for IBM Project Managers.
