Description:
Basel II is a regulatory framework for calculating and reporting
risk-weighted assets (RWAs). For Nordea Basel II is expected to enhance risk
management tools and strengthen competitiveness. It's a matter of license to
operate and be competitive. A bank of Nordea standing is expected to use IRB
(Internal Ratings Based) model. It also means improved credit process
efficiency and external quality recognition.
Responsibilities as Datastage Consultant:
· Played role of
onsite coordinator working from client location in Stockholm.
· Played the role of
technical design lead while working from client location in Stockholm.
· Worked as team lead
for production support team and currently leading the team for new
development project with around 10-12 team members.
· Performed the pre
study of comparison of different ETL tools(DataStage 8.7,Informatica
9.5,Talend,Microstratergy etc) which can be used to replace Datastage 7.5
version and presented it to the client team. Resulting in approval from
client to upgrade the Datastage 7.5 to 9.1 and whole work is to be done by
Accenture even though we had few strong competitors. Received appreciation
from client about this.
· Build the prototype
on 8.7 before the migration was done,
· Planned the
migration of datastage from 8.7 from 7.5
· Proposed the
changes in the existing architecture of ETL part to the client and planned on
the activities and action plan of restructuring the architecture in Datastage
and SQL.
· Being the defect
manager and release manager, assigning tasks to other team members and was
responsible to ensure quality of the all deliverables.
· Worked on
developing data mapping documents and mapping rules to illustrate data flow
from source system to target tables

Corporation is an American payment processing company. It includes merchant
transaction processing services; credit, debit, private-label, gift, payroll
and other prepaid card offerings; fraud protection and authentication
solutions; electronic check acceptance services through TeleCheck; as well as
Internet commerce and mobile payment solutions. Was involved in the solution
which was doing calculations whether a credit card holder will be defaulter
or not based on the different parameters.
Responsibilities:

Involved in Knowledge Transfer of the assigned Applications from Client.

Identified the reusable Abinitio graphs(GDE 2.14) and shell scripts in the
existing systems.
