Sistemas X. Ecuador. Software development company, specialized in web development (.NET/Java enterprise solutions), mobile applications, cloud computing and proofs of concept. 

I was co-leader in project planning for an important customized solution including a mobile app that consumed WCF REST Services written in Mono Framework on Ubuntu Linux, with REST Services sending info in JSON format. I supervised technical support for two valuable .NET solutions in production stage: a Silverlight app including RIA Services, and a Lightswitch app. I worked in project planning for a mobile-web solution in which Back-end were WCF REST Services hosted on Windows Azure, sending JSON data to mobile devices, while Client side required multiplatform development for Android and iOS using Titanium Framework and Alloy MVC.

As programming paradigms, I have used structured programming, functional programming, parallel programming and object-oriented programming, according to different scenarios and requirements. I have acquired skills in design, analysis, optimization, and implementation of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns. I have a preference for the development of C/C++ and Objective C, supported by greater experience and results. I prefer Qt-GUI programming (C/C++), and XCode suite. I started developing with MSX-Basic 18 years ago. In 1997 I started in Turbo Pascal, and since 2001 I prioritized C/C++ learning (during university studies). In 2003 and 2004, I developed parallel programming applications (PVM/MPI/C++) in Linux environments, for cluster benchmarks. I also developed a desktop application (Borland C++ Builder) to support a project for calculating complementarity geometry between proteins. After graduating, I continued to develop programming skills in C/C++, aimed at generating multiplatform capabilities for medical applications (Windows and Linux) using VTK and ITK libraries. I started in the .NET based development and C#, to generate some applications related to capture, processing and transmission of medical images. At university I acquired basics programming in MATLAB, that I reused later to solve some requirements of processing and evaluation of medical images. Four years ago I learned the essentials of Java, and I reused and improved that knowledge to develop an applet for XML digital signature, and recently, to develop an application for Blackberry smartphones and Java coding review of Android application.     

In 2010 I began an intensive study of Objective C (taking advantage of prior C/C++ knowledge), for the development of a multimedia application for iPad, and I improved these skills, more focused on dynamic applications for iOS.

I've learned PHP fundamentals, basically for exchanging XML messages with proprietary application APIs (XML-RPC, JSON) and development & testing of Cake PHP framework based systems.

I have experience in working with web services. I'm familiar with ESB principles and applications.

I have improved some skills in C# programming, and .NET Framework development.

Databases

I have worked with standard SQL for 8 years, oriented application development and support of others applications. I’ve gained better experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL and I have essential notions of SQLite. I’ve performed database tasks for design, administration, optimization and migration (transformations, integration). I have acquired skills in similar processes with SQL Server 2008.
