Projects:

·          Mountain View Community Hospital - Designed and developed a database application for Mountain View Community Hospital. Designed ER and EER models. Implemented DDl, DML, DCl SQL commands, Triggers, PLSQL Procedures, Functions and Sequences. Front end for data entry module was implemented using Java.

 

·          Advances in Data Integration - Developed a Data warehouse for student career services including interview questions and various demographic information. Reporting was done using tableau and QlikView. Various business intelligence questions answered to help students get their desired jobs.

 

·          Data Visualization - Created a BI dashboard for Contoso Database using Qlikview, Tableau and PowerPivot tools. Implemented various KPI's with respect to Product sales, Customer Demographics, Inventory Stock and Store space by providing various drill down's and filters. Filters included timelines(Year, Month, Quarter, Week and Day), Product category, Product Subcategory, Geographic regions. Wrote a script to generate proposed store space by getting user input of how much total space is available. The analysis will tell you how much shelf space should be allocated for each product and category based on the sales data and forecast.

 

·          Project REAL (ETL) - Created a data warehouse using the source tables from Microsoft REAL database. Talend was used for perform cleansing and transformation of records.

 

·          Design Of Financial Information Systems - Conducted a Research on the impact of ERP implementation as a new system on cost accounting and management reporting practices, the implications of changes on reporting system within management accounting into ERP system.

 

·          Step UP - Designed and developed a mobile app (prototype) for the walking club of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston. APP measures the number of steps taken and provided other features such as calories burnt, target steps achieved. Designed based on the core apple processor - M7. Idea was designed to lessen battery usage due to GPS usage, which was the current issue with the APP used by the walking club. Idea Presented to Rhonda Mann, Chief Marketing Office, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center

 

·          Drug Counterfeiting System - Designed and developed a J-Swing application to model the supply chain of drugs in the global market. Identified preventive measures to stop the illegal flow of drugs into the market using a network of enterprises, creating communication channels between them. Created order processing, alerting system and business intelligence for authorities involved.

 

·          Electronic Healthcare System (Business Analysis) - Analyzed and designed the blueprints for an electronic healthcare system, which to create a common database with every patient records accessible to any healthcare provider across Massachusetts state. Did Requirement Elicitation, Process Modeling, Use Cases, Swim-lane Diagrams and UI Mockups for the same.
