  l Vertica Data Collector

  Ø Developing a distributed data loader tool to load variety of data sources into Vertica DB following the instructions of

TDD and Scrum and using OSGi framework, iBATIS, multithread programming to implement the backend.

  Ø Developing plugins to load data from sftp, amazon S3, swift, url and file system. Using JUnit, JMockit to do the test

and Gradle scripts to build.

  Ø Developing a web based management console to monitor and control those distributed data loader node using Jetty

Spring, iBATIS, Derby, Angular.js, JQuery, test with TestNG, Qunit, Jasmine and Karam.

  Ø Designed and Developed RESTful API using Jersey and Spring Web service.

  Ø Using Git to do version control and Jenkins to do CI and Nightly build.

  Ø Created Benchmark test using TPC-DS and tune JVM for performance optimization.

  l Yelp Dataset Challenge Based On Big Data

  Ø Used Pig and Twitter Elephant-Bird to parse JSON file. Used Hive as data warehouse to store data and do

multiple-analysis and Hive HBase Integrator to store data in HBase.

  Ø Used HBase to store data and provide randomly access. Used Mahout item based and user based recommendation

algorithm to do recommendation, clustering algorithm to cluster users.

  Ø Built Hadoop cluster consisting of 3 machines.

amCharts.js to build a web application showing analysis and recommendation results.
