Senior Developer/Functional Lead. IOCM (Inbound Outbound Customs Module) is the Customs
Reporting and Clearance solution for the NYK Lines. IOCM handles all
communication to and from Customs office of United States. This
application/module is primarily used to transmit Bill of Lading Manifests,
Vessel Departure, Vessel Arrival, Container Arrival, Permit to Transfer
information to Customs Authorities through Electronic Data Interface (EDI).
Using User Interface, users across all geographies submit their manifest and
eventually these manifest submitted to United States Customs .Then US Customs
sends back the different type of responses against the different type of
manifests submitted.IOCMUS process all the responses and display the status
and information on UI and generated emails. The system involves 35 scheduled jobs
which take care of different functionalities. The combined user base of the
system is about 500. IOCM has a load balanced cluster of 2 nodes for Web
Server, 2 cluster nodes for application and Database. Responsibilities: ·
