Aspire to design and develop Enterprise Application Integration solutions, preferably using IBM Websphere MQ-MB/IBM Integration Bus or IBM Websphere ESB/WPS.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Software Developer at Tech Mahindra Ltd., Chennai                                                            Nov 2011 - Present

·   Development of over 180 integration interfaces spanning across various business domains of the Iron-ore Customer Sector Group of BHP Billiton, a Multinational mining and petroleum company.

·   Involved in various stages of the SDLC process, including design, development, testing and defect fixing

Key Roles and Responsibilities

 

Offshore

·   Development of integration applications in IBM Websphere Message Broker, IBM Websphere  ESB and IBM Websphere Process Server

·   Key resource in defect analysis and fixing for providing quick turnaround times

·   Lead small teams of up to 10 members, including senior resources, for coordinating development, defect fixing and change requests

·   Attend status meetings with onsite team to ensure that the development activities are on track

 

Onsite

·   As a team (team size of 3), gather and understand requirement from the client

·   Decide on best approach and practices for design, within specified standards

·   Functionality verification and testing after completion of development from offshore

·   Defect fixing and support of code promotion across environments (Test, QA, Prod)

·   Coordinate and support System Integration Testing by client

·   Stand-in interface with the client for all relevant meetings, in the absence of team lead

·   IBM Certified BPM Application Developer – IBM BPM 7.5

·   5 day training program on Developing Integration Applications using IBM Integration Bus 9.0, conducted by IBM

·   2 week training program on Working with IBM Websphere MQ and MB, conducted by Tech Mahindra Learning World

·   3 month entry level training program on JAVA/J2EE, STRUTS 1.1 and Oracle , conducted by Tech Mahindra Learning World
