Most notable projects I have led include:

·            Microfilm Scanning Software System

With this contract, I developed two applications that allow the State of Virginia Library System to scan documents into an image from which the software is able to access readable areas of the document.  From those regions of text, the software is able to determine the document type (i.e. Deed, Deed of Trust, Judiciary, etc.) as well as search and label different areas of the document that identify vital information such as the grantor, grantee, trustee, case numbers, presiding judge, dates, parcel numbers, etc.

·            The Digital Image Transfer System Tape/CD Import Utility

This application allowed the State Library of Virginia to retrieve documents from any tape and/or CD. Once the documents have been retrieved and stored, they are prepared for final storage into a common database.

·            The Fan Station Video/Audio/Chat Application

This application was designed and developed for a multimedia company that allowed interviewers the ability interview sports personalities via the web.  The application functions on three levels of operation: moderator, interviewer and viewer.

·            The Civicall community complaint software

This application was a web-based active-X control built for the Orcutt Group, Inc. This application was used to log in complaints from citizens from a particular jurisdiction. These complaints included abandoned vehicles, rabid animals, trash pick-up, etc.  Complaints are tagged with a level of urgency that ranged from critical to minor.

·            Web Paper Vault

This service eliminates the amount of space taken up by paper documents by storing them in a secure online database.  We currently have over 25 McDonald Corporation Franchises signed on to access this service.
