Software Systems Engineer                                                                                            January 2015 – March 2015

·               Worked in a team-based environment to support Gas SCADA systems for all Dominion subsidiaries with gas pipeline infrastructure.

·               Team was responsible for managing screens and data collection from system-wide meters.

Software Developer II                                                                                                     August 2013 – January 2015

Healthcare Management Solutions, Fairmont, WV

·               Worked in a team-based environment to develop applications for internal department project needs utilizing Asp.NET (VB.NET & C#) and Asp.NET MVC 5 (C#)

·               Applications were written following CMMI Level 3 coding practices and procedures.

·               Helped integrate new authentication schemes (automatic Windows Authentication) into existing and new applications.

·               Upgraded and managed Cisco ASA and PIX firewalls as well as set up VLANs on Cisco Routers and HP Switches.

·               Setup VPNs on Cisco ASA including IPSEC and site-to-site between multiple ASA devices.

·               Helped implement a development VMWare environment and migrated virtual machines from different hardware clusters.

·               Virtualized production systems from existing physical hardware to VMWare clusters.

·               Applications were coded in Visual Basic.NET & C# .NET.

·               Most recent contract is with Department of Defense through ManTech International.

·               Configured Cisco ASA 5505 Firewalls (including: Interface ACL’s, Site to Site/Client VPNs)

·               Network setup/troubleshooting (packet tracing, firewall security, ensure security policies, procedures, and guidelines are being followed.)

·               Windows Server administration (Group Policies, Windows Update Services)

·               Hardware virtualization using Hyper-V for internal application servers.
