I supported the entire production line of the fuzing devices that are being used in the Tomahawk and SLAM-ER Missiles. I assisted in the development of test procedures to warrant the qualification of the fuzing devices. These devices have passed the qualification tests and will be shortly under production for use in MK 80 series and M117 low-drag and high-drag, guided or unguided, high-explosive bombs.U.S. Navy - Joint Programmable Fuze (FMU-152A/B)The Joint Programmable Fuze (JPF) system is an advanced electro-mechanical fuze program, in development at Kaman Dayron, in Orlando, Florida for the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), a department of the U.S. Navy. I helped manage the setup and creation of the test equipment and procedures for the new production at the Dayron facility in Orlando, FL. This allowed for the fuzes to pass their First Article Acceptance Test (FAAT).U.S. Navy - Hydrostatic Safety Arming DeviceThe Hydrostatic Arming Device program, developed for the U.S. Navy, involved using National Instruments’ LabVIEW software to develop and control large computer-based Automated Test Equipment (ATE). I coordinated the development of circuit schematics that were utilized in the ATE, control strategies that were used in the LabVIEW software, and the Operations and Maintenance Manual that is currently utilized by the operators of this equipment.
