·         Security and Exchange Commission (SEC), Washington, DC (11/2011 – Present): Engaged to manage multiple key projects, including:             

-         Guided team of 7 on major initiative moving 12,000 users to a new Active Directory domain/forest on MS Server 2008r2. Completed difficult process of gathering resource requirements for numerous applications, designed AD architecture, created scripts in PowerShell, completed migration/implementation and documented procedures.

-         Drove security improvement by designing architecture for Active Directory Federated Services with single sign-on. Created failover/disaster recovery maintenance documents and an SSO for applications such as WebEx (SAML server).

-         Directed multiple messaging projects, including Exchange Server 2007 to 2010 & post migration support. Played critical role in migrating thousands of mailboxes in a limited amount of time.

-         Requested to lead Lync 2010 migration, supervising a team of 4. Planned resources, determined requirements and set work schedule. Oversaw team in designing & implementing the Lync architecture and acted as sponsor for all meetings with the customer.

-         Installed McAfee Sidewinder & Hardened Network equipment with DISA STIGs.

·         Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Ft. Belvoir, VA (03/2011 – 08/2011): Leveraged expertise to complete multiple projects, managing a team of 15.  Coordinated projects with Project Server 2010:

-         Redesigned Cisco WAN/LAN Lab and development environment for NIPRNet/SIPRNet, using Cisco, Juniper and MacAfee Sidewinder.

-         Designed & implemented Microsoft SharePoint 2010 for client portals.

-         Fulfilled role as government-appointed IAM for a classified network. Prepared C&A package, ensuring that all servers/network appliances were hardened for DISA Stigs for accreditations. Completed all work under tight time constraints due to government deadlines.

·         MPLS Migration from SonicWall VPN Solution: Stepped forward to guide challenging initiative that entailed moving to a hosted platform that changed the entire WAN infrastructure of the network. Guided project to successful conclusion while ensuring all related technical elements were modified. 

·         SharePoint 2007 to 2010 Design & Migration: Created project plan, determined requirements and designed SP architecture, incorporating all remote sites. Propelled team in delivering a smooth migration.
