The Weather Channel

Development of multi-tier .NET rich-client application using SOAP and web services for the client to server transport.  The database is Oracle 9.

 

BellSouth .NET

Developed Video Chat prototype utilizing VCON’s vPdk and DirectSkin.  Implemented the prototype using ATL/WTL ,  Visual Studio .NET.  The application allows the client to connect to another client and have point-to-point video and audio (H.323) conference.

 

Priceline.com - Perfect Yardsale

Member of the COM component development group.  Responsibilities included maintaining and enhancing existing MS Visual C++ COM components, developing new components based on requirements and coordinating development with the ASP and Oracle database groups.

Member of USAA’s Internet development team.  Development is in VB/C++ /Java/ASP/SQL Server/MTS/LDAP.   The Internet team designs, develops, tests and deploys USAA’s Internet application.  The application allows members to access and maintain their USAA accounts (Life, Bank, and Property & Casualty) over the Internet. 

 

Digital Equipment Corporation (Millicent micro-commerce)

Involved in design and development of a server application that processes electronic commerce requests via the HTTP protocol.  Application was developed using Java with database factories supporting JDBC and Object Design’s PSE Pro.

 

 

Electronic Data Systems (EDS), TX, NJ

Responsible in the development/maintenance of a Windows application developed in MS Visual C++ utilizing Microsoft's MFC and Windows API.   Primary role was troubleshooting and fixing windows related anomalies.  Application consisted of more than 50 windows in an MDI framework.  The application connected to Sybase via Tuxedo.
