Golf Channel/GolfNow (2013 – 2014)

·               Lead developer for Golf Now Central.  The application is an MVC/JQuery based application serving internal and external users.

 

Kahua LLC (2012 – 2013) – Start-up

·               Senior developer for the core platform development group.

·               Developed multiple MVVM client modules in Silverlight using C#.

·               Worked within a core group of senior developers utilizing an agile Scrum methodology.

·               Created and maintained multiple modules in a composite-controller patterned server architecture.  Implemented core functionality within the service oriented architecture (WCF).  Created and maintained SQL stored procedures in support of the application.

Watermark Medical, LLC (2010 –2012)

·               Manager/Lead Architect for new product development.  Technologies used are Android OS, Java, and .Net(WCF, ASP.NET, LINQ to SQL). 

·               Manage product development team tasked with the design, development and deployment of a home healthcare medical product.  Product requires supporting FDA and ISO documentation.

·               Responsibilities include mentoring and employee evaluations.

·               Hands-on development of all aspects of product development including Android java development and WCF service communication of tablet client facing device.  Also, design and develop web portal workflow using ASP.NET and SQL Server 2008.

 

Xperical, LLC (2008 – 2010) – Start-up

·               Hands-on architect and lead developer of a healthcare based software product that was built from the ground up.  The product is based on Microsoft WPF/WCF/SQL Server 2008 technologies and leverages the Infragistic’s WPF suite for UI presentation..

·               The product is architected as a multi-tier application using Microsoft WCF web services at its core.  It is also designed to dynamically collapse the tiers down to a traditional client/server architecture to be used in smaller client installs.

·               The application’s design is based on MVC design principles. XAML and data binding is used extensively as well as LINQ to SQL Server within the data layer.

·               The product is a single source Rich Internet application that can run as a full client install as well as a Click-Once browser application.

The development team was structured to utilize Agile paired programming as a pilot in Cox’s development environment.

 

Turner Broadcasting Systems TBS (.NET Consultant)

Member of the Enterprise Applications corporate web development team developing the Turner Payment Approval System. 

 

Sage Software

Consultancy role in helping Sage Software transition their Peachtree Accounting software suite to the .NET platform.  Responsibilities included architecture and UI development of new Peachtree Accounting Dashboard/Menu system.  The dashboard interface is a .NET Windows form application that is embedded within the current Visual C++ legacy implementation.  It is a graphical portal that was developed using GDI+ and composite controls extensively.

 

Siemens Business Services

Lead developer of the user interface team for the Siemens Business Services ESPN Digital Conversion Project.

 

The Weather Channel

Development of multi-tier .NET rich-client application using SOAP and web services for the client to server transport.  The database is Oracle 9.

 

BellSouth .NET

Developed Video Chat prototype utilizing VCON’s vPdk and DirectSkin.  Implemented the prototype using ATL/WTL ,  Visual Studio .NET.  The application allows the client to connect to another client and have point-to-point video and audio (H.323) conference.

 

Priceline.com - Perfect Yardsale

Member of the COM component development group.  Responsibilities included maintaining and enhancing existing MS Visual C++ COM components, developing new components based on requirements and coordinating development with the ASP and Oracle database groups.

USAA - San Antonio, TX

Member of USAA’s Internet development team.  Development is in VB/C++ /Java/ASP/SQL Server/MTS/LDAP.   The Internet team designs, develops, tests and deploys USAA’s Internet application.  The application allows members to access and maintain their USAA accounts (Life, Bank, and Property & Casualty) over the Internet. 

 

Digital Equipment Corporation (Millicent micro-commerce)

Involved in design and development of a server application that processes electronic commerce requests via the HTTP protocol.  Application was developed using Java with database factories supporting JDBC and Object Design’s PSE Pro.

 

 

Electronic Data Systems (EDS), TX, NJ

Responsible in the development/maintenance of a Windows application developed in MS Visual C++ utilizing Microsoft's MFC and Windows API.   Primary role was troubleshooting and fixing windows related anomalies.  Application consisted of more than 50 windows in an MDI framework.  The application connected to Sybase via Tuxedo.
