SSO - OpenID Connect - TeamConnect

Project Abstract

Teamconnect is a third party application in Google which uses Google’s OpenID2 protocol for user authentiation. Google’s OpenID2 protocol has been deprecated and thus forcing all the applications using it to be upgraded to recent protocol - OpenID Connect.  OpenID Connect is a SSO protocol provided by Google.

●         Design the application to use OpenID Connect

●         Parse the input request from Teamconnect applicaiton

●         Authenticate using OpenID Connect to Google OAuth2 Server

●         Design the app appropriately to handle auth request from different environments

●         Create ClientIDs for each environment and generate Client Secrets

●         Encrypt User details after authentication and pass back to TeamConnect

CAMP Systems acquired Avtrak which required CAMP to develop a similar website as like Avtrak in order to continue the service to its subscribers. Development for this new project Avtrak has been initiated in 2003. This website is designed to have the following modules.
