Project is a sustenance/development project on a renowned product “Siteminder” in Identity and access Management domain. Site minder is used by most of the fortune 1000 organizations which includes major Banks in the world. It is used to protect the online resources of an organization by providing appropriate access to legal identities. Project is about handling Escalated issues coming from field and providing software solutions with in a very tight time frame. The issues coming from field are mostly the performance issues/crash dumps/memory leaks. So while working on these issues acquired the advanced debugging skills on windows as well as UNIX platform. For windows, worked on visual studio debugger to debug C++ code and used windbg to analyze core dumps produced by Dr. Watson. For Solaris/Linux, worked on dbx/gdb to debug core file. Having register level knowledge to look for parameters passed from a function to another. In nutshell, having good C++ debugging skills. Acquired the domain knowledge too in web security space like, how SSO/Federation works and how Siteminder protects the enterprise precious resources from unauthorized access.

The License manager works with both redundancy (More reliable) as well as standalone mode.

-Project deals with different software tools used to configure monitor and communicate with Prime IVR Component Media Processing Server. Media processing server is having the hardware which is communicating with the client calls. Media Processing server called as integrated voice response system responds to these calls by assigning different application to the lines according to the user’s choice. The call lands on PBX and then come to MPS if it is intended for IVR.
