I have worked on several leading technologies including Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Application, Storage, Storage Networking, Computer Networking, GUI development. Some key words include ZFS, NSS, NTFS, Volume manager, Quiescence, Snapshot, SCSI, FCoE, FC, Security, Firewall, Wan Acceleration, Compression, TCP/IP, MAC, Flow control, GUI, Java, C#, 508 VPAT, Cloud Services, Virtualization etc.


I have worked in Sr Software Design & Development positions with systems, networking and storage companies for over 15 years. While at VERITAS (Symantec) United States I contributed towards maximum revenue generating product and added two licensed features, these feature are now competing against top data protection products in the world. I was also involved in networking with FC adapter and FC-SCSI bridge vendors to build data protection solutions. I was one of the first to make HBA adapter vendor realize the need for HBA apis and worked closely with SNIA WG's to crystallize some of the standards and wrote white papers.

Project Description: Build a team of 10 engineers comprising of software engineers and QA engineers. The team is working on leading edge enterprise class storage and networking software. This team has worked on ZFS like file system. Java GUI, Product sustaining, Network based archival, 508 accessibility technologies.

Project Description: Was responsible for creating a pool of talent and work with them to develop windows version of Amanda enterprise archival client.

Project Description: Built a team of 14 engineers working on three projects including Decoding and monitoring of IP traffic over PPP/MLP protocol and maintenance releases for   Telecommunication test and measuring instrument. GUI framework porting from Linux to VxWorks. Proof of concept for Digital Handshake (design and proof of concept for) Wireless Communication Framework development for mobile platform to support IRDA, 802.11, GSM etc. In addition I also added 3-4 clients to Spartan labs profile.
