Contracted to US Army AMC CECOM CoE under Army Data Center Consolidation Plan (ADCCP). Initially hired to lead a team of over fifty architects and developers responsible for analyzing data center applications in complex, highly diverse, and geographical disparate environments and to lead the modernization efforts to migrate applications to virtualized cloud environments to facilitate data center consolidation and closures.Collected data to discover application dependencies and “as-is” architecture through manual and automated discovery tools/processes. Designed “to-be” architecture for applications migrating to an Army or DoD cloud platform, including assistance building out new architecture and IA/Networthiness compliance for migration to DISA or ALTESS data centers. Founded and built an IT consulting company specializing in multi-tier application development, network infrastructure, storage management, information security, disaster recovery, and hosted services. Managed day to day operations, projects, personnel, and budgets. Grew the company from nothing to multi-million dollar annual revenue before selling company in 2006.
