The existing system was built using JSP, Servlets, flash and JavaScript and so with minimal effort had to be transformed into a more comprehensive and enterprise class system. Scala and LIFT framework were the best fit for the requirements.

01/01 - 12/01 M-Banking Application for ICICI and Reliance Infocomm Mumbai, India

Developer

The application would enable customers of ICICI to make balance enquiries from their Reliance handsets. The midlet was developed using the J2ME MIDP 1.1. API. The servlet was developed for the business tier, which had instances of the HTML parser class, a helper class to parse HTML from ICICI server’s end. IBM’s Log4j was used to implement logging facility and a protocol converter class to convert HTTP requests to HTTPS requests and vice versa, using the security features of JDK 1.4.

Responsibilities:

·                                       Involved in project design by doing a requirement analysis

·                                       Lead a team of 4 members

·                                       Singularly developed the all the modules relevant for the project

·                                       Involved in taking technology related decisions

·                                       Involved in project Documentation at code level and created user manuals
