·   Architected and implemented of all North Star travel related web sites, publication, services and financial systems.  Built, managed and mentored a team of 23 developers, business analysts, database analysts and quality assurance tester to develop and implement new company initiatives. The oversight of this infrastructure included all 7x24 administration and monitoring of the corporate web farm, internal publication and financial systems.

·   Designed and developed all the systems enumerated in the list below, which were composed of dynamic content utilizing web technologies: ASP, VB 6, VB .NET, ASP .NET, MS SQL 2000, Verity Search Engine. Utilizing flexible architectures and reusable SOA, COM and DCOM component technologies, I designed, developed and deployed each of these sites, including several iterative releases that included enhanced features and capabilities.

·   Hotel and Travel Index (www.htihotelink.com) – Built hotel search engine for a Hotel Directory of over 79,000 hotels around the world, which is the largest hotel database in the world.  The site provides a rich interactive interface to expose a fully dynamic MS SQL-driven backend database engine. The application engine also provides sophisticated search capabilities, including geographical, hotel amenities, price.

·   Travel Weekly (www.travelweekly.com) – A bi weekly printed publication and expanded Internet accessible Webzine for travel industry professionals. The architecture of this site had to accommodate large volumes of traffic to service a million travel professionals in the US, including a business-hours volume of over two million impressions per month. Meetings and Convention Magazine (www.meetings-conventions.com) – This is a monthly professional Webzine for meeting planners and group organizers. This site provides a direct index, and procurement interface through RFPs, to providers of the meeting facilities.

·   Star Hotel Review Service (www.starserviceonline.com) – This site contains Critical reviews for over 10,000 hotel and 1,000 cruise ships. This is also a subscription-based site that reuses the concurrent access model.

·   Financial System implementation of AR, AP, AM, GL, order entry and billing. The AP, GL and AM are an implementation of the web version of People Soft 8.  AR, order entry and billing are a highly customized package to meet the company’s need.  Special interfaces where develop to systemically passed client order information to and from our Central database repository for data collect as well as our internal sales and commission system.

·   Lead Architect and project leader of a staff of 11 Programmers, 3 Database Administrators and 2 Business Analysts to maintain 6 production systems while working on new company systems.  Also in charge of the system support and disaster recovery team to insure system were available 24/7.                                         

·   Managed, designed and provided technical leadership of a mission critical team, responsibilities included the development of a Billing and Account Receivables system to process all Century 21, ERA, and Caldwell Banker’s real estate transactions.  This component of the entire (28 million dollar) project involved the reengineering and combining of the entire back office for the three real-estate companies.

·   Architected, designed, programmed and implemented Decision Support and Contact Management System (CRM) for Century 21 division. The Decision Support and Contact Management System were developed for corporate staff to manage and relay communicates about franchises day to day business activities. The system incorporates production, franchise, receivable and inter-office comments data that is updateable nightly.
