·     Architected, built and deployed mission critical systems. Identity management (IdM), SAML 2.0, CA IdentityMinder, Novel Identity Manager. Implemented Microsoft’s WIF based access and entitlement system with SOA to support subscription access to over 3 million users yearly.

·     Designed infinitely scalable grade book system processing and reporting on 900 million quizzes a year utilizing AWS Cloud IaaS and database sharding. 

·     Rolled out ADFS 2, 3.0 to support our SaaS corporate systems: MS O365, Google Docs, Salesforce, Service Now, Keyed in, Jive, AWS, and developed could systems.

·     Implemented B2C e-commerce solution to process millions of dollars of transaction yearly. The system is designed to handle multiple business models (subscriptions, digital and physical products). The system was built utilizing an enterprise service bus to guarantee transactions across multiple fulfillment backend systems. System interfaced with warehouse system, data warehouse, Thompson Reuter’s taxes report and payments, Shippers web services UPS, FedEx for shipping label, costs, and tracking.

·     Designed, built corporate B2C web sites and web services, servicing over 4 million users monthly (Us.macmillan.com, Quickanddirtytips.com, Macmillanspeakers.com, macmillanhighered.com, bedfordstmartins.com, whfreeman.com, worthpublishers.com. The sites were built utilizing SOA, C# .Net, Java, PHP, SQL server 2008, Ektron CMS, Solr. 

·     Deploy cross-platform mobile web sites utilizing HTML5, Responsive design, multimedia (video, audio) and social networks (Twitter, Facebook) to promote text books and books (us.macmillan.com/mobile, www.macmillanhigher.com). The sites were built utilizing SOA, C# .Net, SQL server 2008, Ektron CMS, Solr.

·     Designed public cloud eBook download service on the Azure (C#, SQL server, PowerShell). Public cloud video annotation application/service that utilizes AWS. In addition implemented cloud SaaS services: Service Now, Office 365, Keyed in, Jive, Encoding.com, Smtp.com

·     Architected scalable SOA architecture utilizing components written in C# .NET, SQL Server.

·     Architected, implemented and support 3 physical and 5 cloud datacenters. Solutions consisted HP Blades and server, Cisco Nexus Cores, Firewalls, Routers, F5 load balancers, EMC, Netapp, Dell SANs, Azure, AWS, iLand, Atos, Virtustream IaaS and cloud providers.

·     Worked with Networking team to implement Cisco OTV in supporting of datacenter migration and consolidation from NY to VA.

·     Responsible for strategic technology direction of all electronic products produced domestically.

·     Lead multiple groups of 20+ staff: developers, network Engine, operations, DBA, business analysts, project managers staff located in two locations; Rockaway NJ and Bangalore India. My groups were responsible for analysis, design, development, testing, and on going support of diverse systems (internet, web services, database, and client server) 

·     Managed relationship with outsourcing service providers which includes implementing processes to ensure the quality of the work being delivered by consultants.

·     Preformed and implemented extensive Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to maximized page saturation and page ranking within Google, Yahoo, and MSN.

·     Researched and evaluated new technologies (RFP & POC) as well as incorporated into our end solutions. Entailed: vendor relationship management, contract negotiations, as well as strategic assessment. Tool research included: Search Engine software (FAST EPS, Verity, Endeca, Google appliance, and Alta Vista), Access and Entitlement software (Emeta Erights, CA Site Minder), Taxonomy Management (Terigram TK240, Schemalogic).

·     Engineered and created an online payment system.  The payment system included an Amazon like HTML shopping cart system to allow easy integration into existing sites. The system’s core is collection of SOA web services to process credit cards, fulfill orders and ship products. The system was fully integrated with full supply chain to do online subscriptions via reoccurring charges and deferred revenue. Tool used includes: Cyber Source CPM server, shipping web services, People Soft. Over 40 sites were intergraded and the system collecting over $25 million dollars of transaction a year. Development included: Web Services, VS 2003 VB and C# .NET, SQL Server 2005, Cyber source CMP server, Tax Ware, DHL shipping web API.

·     Implemented strategy to become a member of Microsoft’s early adoption program.  Scheduled and implemented training across development, DBA, Network engineering to adopted SQL Server 2005, VS 2005, and Biz Talk 2005.

·     Designed and built product specification search engine for engineers to search for parts while filter out unwanted products via parametric searches. System includes a custom third party interface for manufacturers to upload product content through XML/XSD.

North Star Travel Media, Secaucus, NJ

·   Architected and implemented of all North Star travel related web sites, publication, services and financial systems.  Built, managed and mentored a team of 23 developers, business analysts, database analysts and quality assurance tester to develop and implement new company initiatives. The oversight of this infrastructure included all 7x24 administration and monitoring of the corporate web farm, internal publication and financial systems.

·   Designed and developed all the systems enumerated in the list below, which were composed of dynamic content utilizing web technologies: ASP, VB 6, VB .NET, ASP .NET, MS SQL 2000, Verity Search Engine. Utilizing flexible architectures and reusable SOA, COM and DCOM component technologies, I designed, developed and deployed each of these sites, including several iterative releases that included enhanced features and capabilities.

·   Hotel and Travel Index (www.htihotelink.com) – Built hotel search engine for a Hotel Directory of over 79,000 hotels around the world, which is the largest hotel database in the world.  The site provides a rich interactive interface to expose a fully dynamic MS SQL-driven backend database engine. The application engine also provides sophisticated search capabilities, including geographical, hotel amenities, price.

·   Travel Weekly (www.travelweekly.com) – A bi weekly printed publication and expanded Internet accessible Webzine for travel industry professionals. The architecture of this site had to accommodate large volumes of traffic to service a million travel professionals in the US, including a business-hours volume of over two million impressions per month. Meetings and Convention Magazine (www.meetings-conventions.com) – This is a monthly professional Webzine for meeting planners and group organizers. This site provides a direct index, and procurement interface through RFPs, to providers of the meeting facilities.

·   Star Hotel Review Service (www.starserviceonline.com) – This site contains Critical reviews for over 10,000 hotel and 1,000 cruise ships. This is also a subscription-based site that reuses the concurrent access model.

·   Financial System implementation of AR, AP, AM, GL, order entry and billing. The AP, GL and AM are an implementation of the web version of People Soft 8.  AR, order entry and billing are a highly customized package to meet the company’s need.  Special interfaces where develop to systemically passed client order information to and from our Central database repository for data collect as well as our internal sales and commission system.

Cendant (Century 21, ERA, Caldwell Banker), Parsippany, NJ

Project Manager/Project Leader

·   Lead Architect and project leader of a staff of 11 Programmers, 3 Database Administrators and 2 Business Analysts to maintain 6 production systems while working on new company systems.  Also in charge of the system support and disaster recovery team to insure system were available 24/7.                                         

·   Managed, designed and provided technical leadership of a mission critical team, responsibilities included the development of a Billing and Account Receivables system to process all Century 21, ERA, and Caldwell Banker’s real estate transactions.  This component of the entire (28 million dollar) project involved the reengineering and combining of the entire back office for the three real-estate companies.

·   Architected, designed, programmed and implemented Decision Support and Contact Management System (CRM) for Century 21 division. The Decision Support and Contact Management System were developed for corporate staff to manage and relay communicates about franchises day to day business activities. The system incorporates production, franchise, receivable and inter-office comments data that is updateable nightly.

·   Member of a mission critical team responsible for the redevelopment of: account maintenance, product line, author royalties, order entry/adjustment and discounting systems.  Analyzed & designed: table layout, referential integrity, indexes, stored procedures.  Wrote Complex Code to create Order Entry and Adjustment systems, which integrated all systems (AR, Warehouse system, Commissions). Designed complex SQL triggers to enforce business rules. 

·   Developed a submission, acquisition and contract system, which included agreement status, submission report generator and contract generator. The system automatically transferred data to production royalties’ sales tracking.

·   Analyzed, designed and programmed a remote Sales Office System. The system incorporates sales catalogs with an order entry system that allows users to send orders, update catalogs and receive customer information through Modem Data transfer using Attachmate Remote LAN Node.
