CSS is
focused on developing tomorrow’s infrastructure for housing finance. A Joint
Venture between Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, CSS has been established to
develop and operate the Common Securitization Platform (CSP) to be utilized
by the secondary housing finance market in the United States. I was hired as
the first Recruiter under CSS with the purpose of building this organization
as a start-up from the ground-up. Since joining CSS I have accomplished the
following:
· Built both the Applications Development and Quality
Assurance practices. Identifying key resources to lead both departments,
including Applications Development and QA/Testing Directors.
· Work with upper management in identifying and selecting
the most qualified resources to build CSP, from Manager to Junior level staff
in the area of solutions Architecture, applications development/Java/C/C++,
application support, quality assurance, automation testing, systems analysis,
risk and controls management, information security/cyber
security/resiliency/business continuity/identity & access management,
data management/business intelligence/data warehousing/Big data analytics,
Cloud Computing/AWS/Azure/Google, mobility enterprise architecture, and
technical infrastructure.
· Manage relationships with external recruiting vendors
· Lead weekly meetings with upper management to discuss
recruiting progress, and new creative ideas to bolster recruiting
· Organize career fairs to increase awareness about CSS.
· Put together creative position descriptions
· Work with TALEO to manage the recruiting process and track
applications
· Work with the Compensation Department to determine
reasonable compensation for new hires.

EngagePoint is a Healthcare IT company that primarily provides
technology solutions to external clients within both the public and private
sector. The company was a subcontractor to Noridian in the process of
building the Maryland Healthcare Exchange under the Affordable Care Act/Obama
Care. I was hired as a Senior Recruiting Consultant with the purpose of
providing full life cycle customized recruiting for the company in the areas
of healthcare exchange implementation. Help recruit for technical resources
on HIX projects in Minnesota, Missouri, Maryland, Arkansas and Idaho. Most of
the positions recruited for included Technical Project Managers, SOA
Architects, Integration Architect/Developers, Java/J2EE Developers, Data
Architect, Technical Writers, and more. The goal was to identify the most
qualified resources to design, build, support, and maintain the
projects.
My assignment ended prematurely when Noridian terminated its
contractual agreement with EngagePoint.
