May 2012 – present

·Lead development efforts, design and implement platform architecture, and manage other engineering team members.

·Research and recommend technologies and appropriate business partners to create solutions for problems.

Projects:  

·Software Architect - Invent digital aeronautical charting system using ArcGIS for Aviation, Luciad Java Libraries, PHP, J2EE, Oracle Database with Workspace Manager to create design, publishing, workflow, and distribution systems. It makes Pegasus Airlines third commercial aeronautical chart provider in the world.

·Software Architect - Electronic flight bag project using Microsoft .NET Framework (Windows Store, WinForm, Web), Devexpress Libraries (Windows 8 XAML, WinForm, XPO), Python, and Amazon Web Services (EC2, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS) to create world’s first Windows RT based integrated tablet solution for mix-fleet airlines like Pegasus Airlines.

·Documented guideline of ArcGIS LiDAR tools, and my works.

Projects:

·Developed an algorithm to create automated building extraction tools for LiDAR point cloud using ArcObjects Java.

·Developed Microsoft Excel Add-ins for geocoding and marketing figures.

·Made National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) research for all over the world and published results as a publicly available interactive map on ArcGIS Online.

SISNav Mobile Application Project - 2008 - 2010                                      

·        Involved as a developer in Java based mobile application project runs on J2ME supported mobile phones.

·        Developed a new module that process NMEA strings to show live position in a sheet grid via graphical interface on the mobile screen.

·        Mainly Apache Ant, Eclipse and J2ME Polish GUI Framework were used during the project.

Geomatic Web Applications - 2007 - 2011          

·        Led a team composed of students and professionals from all over the country by means of online project management tools.

·        Led weekly online meetings to follow up team members and make decisions together.

·        Awarded by highly prestigious Turkish scientific institute (TUBITAK) in 2010.

·        The project website (www.geomatikuygulamalar.com) is still visited by millions of people per year.

·        Created application development platform and documentation to make any kind of location-based programming possible for engineers.

·        Developed JAX-RS and OAuth based geospatial web services.

·        Managed cloud services PostgreSQL database server and databases that works on Amazon Cloud.

·        Developed geospatial application portal based on PHP, HTML, CSS and Java Script. Code Igniter and jQuery frameworks are used.
