§ Project: Code Finder

o  CPT Code Finder is a standalone user interface to search the CPT Codes and Description from the MHS Service platform.  CPT Code Finder UI integrated with Relay Health products such as Relay Clearance, UAW, Relay Assurance, AhiQA .The consuming applications interact to CPT Code Finder page using CORS (Cross-origin Resource Sharing) mechanism using jQuery postmessage. CPT Code Finder search exposed a RESTFUL service to clients to consume and get the results for the search as JSON response.

§ Project: Medical Necessity

o  Medical Necessity is a standalone component to check whether a medical service is fully covered by Medicare insurance or not, based on rules defined by CMS and issue an ABN (Advance Beneficiary Notice of Noncoverage). The Business rules to decide medical necessity were abstracted and created in Medical Necessity Rules Engine Web service using WCF, C#. User Interface to enter patient info and service info is developed using ASP.NET MVC 4, jQuery, KnockoutJS which calls the rules service and if needed generates ABN PDF dynamically at run time in a predefined format. This component is developed for McKesson’s pre-service product lines – RelayClearance and AhiQA. The consuming applications interact to Medical Necessity page using CORS (Cross-origin Resource Sharing) mechanism using jQuery postmessage.
